MCSA Windows Server 2016 Study Guide: Exam 70-740

good read for the start of MCSA track

It helped me study for the test which I passed on the first try.

This is a keeper for future reference.

This book does not even cover the full list of topics on Microsoft's website. The material is very poorly explained, and I cannot imagine this will help me pass the test.I have resorted to researching Microsoft Docs, as I find them to be far superior in explaining and covering the material.

Great book. Easy to learn and understand

This is Excellent reference material for building Windows Server 2016.

I am re-writing my review on this book.It's awful, find something else.It is full of typos, and outright incorrect information.I read it front to back, twice. I understand everything in the book, and I consistently get 80-90% on the practice tests.Then I went to Transcender to try their practice tests to make sure I was ready for the exam. I got a 16% and didn't even understand a good portion of the questions.This book had me thinking I was ready for the exam, and in reality, I am no where close. I am glad I checked out another resource because I had the exam scheduled in a week, and I would have failed.I used to think sybex was good. This book is NOT good. Avoid at all costs.

Helped me with my exams!

AVOID - terribly written book with a terribly coded website companion.Missing topics, bad example exercises and many important steps missing.Quite possibly damaged my knowledge on the subject if nothing else.Honestly - stay away.

Missing conceots, poor or no examples of powershell command, poor explanation snd incoherent at best. AVOID AT ALL COST.if there was a refund policy for book purchased but read 2 years later i would have returned it.
