The engine shed is a welcome addition to a growing train collection.

Great house. The Y-switch is non-standard
This is a great house and super simple. The roof is easily removable for a toddler, and a good size to park a few trains. I wish it were a little deeper so you can fit 2 full trains, it only fits about 1.5 length of your average wooden train cars. Not a big deal. The Y-switch that connects to this is non-standard, meaning you cannot pickup another Y-switch and expect it to work, they just don't. I think this Y-switch is a little wider and the connector ends are shallow. I have Y-switches from IKEA, BRIO, Orbrium, and Conductor Carl, neither work. So you'll be fishing for this very specific Y-connector every time. Or you can just build two small straights off of the shed and use a different Y-switch from there. Minus 1 star for this oversight.

Compatible with major brands! Nice quality. Great price! I got it off Amazon for $12 during boxing week. Works with Ikea, Thomas and Friends, and Kid Connection. (Unsure of other sets, as these are the ones we have). A good compromise if you can't afford the grand roundhouse style train sheds. Basic assembly required before use.

Perfect for a little train set! Roof comes off for easy exit/entery for the trains and all the train set vehicles we've tested fit

An excellent addition to model train set
This is the star of grandson's wooden train track. It comes out every time he plays with it and the engines sit nicely within it. It's compatible with his mainly brio set and is of excellent quality. He has lots of fun with it and is a feast addition to his large box of track, trains etc. I think it is quite good price, compared with others.
