My Birman cat has a very delicate stomach so I have to watch what I give him he’s also quite fussy but he loves these little biscuits which gives him all the nutrients he needs. I do sometimes give him a tin of red salmon which will last a week in the fridge. He needs some oily fish to keep his fur in good condition. Giving these tiny biscuits also keeps the flies off his food as flies prefer wet food. They are expensive but he’s worth every penny and he isn’t as constipated as he used to be which can only be a good thing.

Pretty darn expensive for the price and there’s not a lot, as for the food my cat loves it but lets see if it helps her.

Our cat has high calcium levels and needs a high fibre diet to help reduce them. She ia very fussy and won't touch any recommended wet foods, but she can't get enough of these biscuits. Within the first couple weeks she put back on some weight she'd lost, which was great. Started with a smaller 400g bag which didn't last long and had to get the bigger 2kg bag. It's lasted a full month so value for money isn't too bad at all considering it's part of her treatment. Its also safe for her sister to eat and has helped with both of their digestion and toilet habits (larger, firmer poops). Great product.

Bought these instead of another brand which my cat wasn't getting on with. These have made such a difference to his delicate stomach.

I bought this because it is marketed as a veterinary gastrointestinal fibre-response food and is supposed to be good quality, but my cats completely turned their noses up at it. They did not like it at all. The ingredients also surprised me, as there seems to be a lot of grain in it, including rice, corn, wheat gluten and corn gluten. I understand it may be formulated for a specific digestive purpose, but it was not suitable for my cats from a taste or palatability point of view. It may work for some cats, but mine refused to eat it, so I would not buy it again.

Ho acquistato queste crocchette su consiglio della mia veterinaria per alcuni dei nostri sette gatti che, occasionalmente, soffrono di stitichezza e problemi alle ghiandole perianali piene, da dover poi svuotare. I nostri gatti mangiano prevalentemente umido completo di alta qualità, quindi l’alimentazione di base è già molto curata. Nonostante questo, ogni tanto si presentano queste problematiche, ed è lì che entrano in gioco queste crocchette. Le utilizzo a cicli, dando pochissime crocchette a gatto, la sera prima di andare a dormire. Non le lascio mai a disposizione perché sono estremamente appetibili: come si vede anche dalle foto e dal video, appena apro la confezione arrivano tutti di corsa. Devo dire che l’effetto è stato evidente: da quando faccio questi cicli, non abbiamo più avuto episodi di stitichezza né problemi alle ghiandole perianali. Per noi sono state un valido aiuto. Detto questo, è giusto essere chiari: si tratta di un mangime medicato, quindi non va utilizzato come alimento quotidiano, ma solo in caso di necessità e preferibilmente sotto indicazione veterinaria. ✅ PRO • Molto efficace per stitichezza, ghiandole perianali e problemi intestinali occasionali • Altamente appetibile (i gatti lo adorano) • Utile come supporto rapido in caso di necessità ❌ CONTRO • Composizione non eccellente dal punto di vista degli ingredienti • Non adatto a uso continuativo Non do 5 stelle solo per la composizione, ma quando serve risolvere una problematica in modo rapido, Royal Canin sui prodotti medicati resta uno dei marchi più affidabili. Consigliato come supporto mirato, non come alimento fisso.

Ho comprato questi croccantini per il mio gatto che ha problemi di stitichezza, dovuti alla quantità di pelo che ingerisce pulendosi. Uso già una pasta di malto per aiutarlo, ma questi croccantini hanno un a percentuale di fibre che l'aiutano molto e riescono davvero a stabilizzarlo. Ho voluto fare una prova, prendendo la confezione da 300 gr, perchè avevo paura che il mio gatto non li volesse mangiare, ma avevo comunque l'intenzione di mischiarli agli altri croccantini per farglieli ingerire ugualmente. Invece, con mia grande sorpresa, li ama molto e così ho potuto dargli un cucchiaio al giorno, come se fosse un premietto , i croccantini " special" che non disdegna mai. Comprerò sicuramente la confezione da più chili, perchè la sua funzionalità gastrointestinale è migliorata sicuramente. Lo consiglio!

PARECE QUE EL PAQUETE SEA DE 2 KILOS PERO EN REALIDAD SON 400 GRS AL PRECIO DE 2 KILOS Y NO TIENE DEVOLUCION. La comida es muy buena, les gusta y sirve contra el estreñimiento. Pero 400 grs cuesta 7 euros, no 22 y en las fotos no se ve la cantidad de grs y por el tamaño y el precio hace pensar que sean 2 kilos. ME SIENTO ESTAFADA

... spuckt mein Kater es komplett aus, wenn er es zu sehr reingeschlungen hat. Grund: Er liebt es, aber er kaut nicht richtig (Katzen kauen Trockenfutter selten) und dieses Trockenfutter dehnt sich im Magen derart aus, dass es bei ihm Brechreiz auslöst. Daher kriegt er bei uns normalerweise auch sonst kein Trockenfutter. Drei Sterne wegen dieser gesundheitlich ungünstigen Akzeptanz. Ich würde es sehr begrüßen, wenn es dieses Futter als Nassfutter-Formulierung gäbe! Wirkung dieses Trockenfutters: Das Wirkversprechen wird eigentlich perfekt eingelöst: Sein Kot war bereits ab erstem Tag, als er das Trockenfutter noch nicht rausspuckte, geschmeidiger geworden. Im Durchmesser auch gleichzeitig nicht so voluminös wie mit Flohsamenschalen. Mein Kater hat seit über einem Jahr Probleme mit zu hartem Kot. Er jammerte ab und an und presste. Er neigt auch zu Harngries. Was ich deswegen alles versucht habe: Futterwechsel, Flohsamenschalen, Leinsamen, Kürbis, pürierte Karotten beimischen, Butter, mit Mittelchen Harn ansäuern. Alles mit bescheidenem Erfolg. Er lässt das Futter stehen, wenn nach seiner Ansicht nur ein µ zu viel davon drin ist. Was besser funktionierte: Eine Messerspitze Macrogol ins Futter gegen den zu festen Kot. M: kann man jedoch nicht dauerhaft geben. Mein Kater entwickelte ein Kalium-Defizit. Also auch weg mit M. als "Dauerlösung", die dann eben keine ist. Fazit: Dieses Trockenfutter hilft anscheinend wirklich. Gleichzeitig arbeitet es laut Herstellerseite auch der Alkalisierung des Harns und damit der Bildung von Struvitsteinen entgegen. Für mich, für den Kater ist dieser Doppelnutzen perfekt. Wenn sein sensibler Magen nicht wäre. Mein Lösungsansatz: Ich werde versuchen, ihm dieses Trockenfutter A. abgewandelt und B. sparsamer zu geben. A: Dieses Trockenfutter einweichen, dann pürieren und es teelöffelweise ins gewohnte Nassfutter mogeln. Ergebnis: Er mags leider eingeweicht nicht recht, es schmeckt anscheinend nicht mehr, Duftstoffe gehen verloren. o.a.. B - im Test: Das uneingeweichte, harte Trockenfutter mit dem Pürierstab kleiner mahlen und als feinen Krokant übers Nassfutter streuen. [UPDATE] 1. Das Fibre Response trocken zu vermahlen und drüber zu streuen: Wird nicht angenommen. 2. Habe dank der Erfahrung mit Fibre Response herausgefunden, dass mein Kater seine extreme Dauer-Verstopfung wegen der Dauergabe teuren, getreidefreien und fleischreichen Nassfutters (bis zu 90 % Fleisch) entwickelt hat. Ein solches Nassfutter hatte und hat für ihn anscheinend zu wenig Ballaststoffe. Egal welche Marke. Vielleicht hilft diese Beobachtung dem einen oder anderen Katzenhalter hier, dessen Tier an Verstopfung leidet. 3. Er frisst jetzt wieder sein altes Nassfutter, das zwar ohne Zucker, aber getreidehaltig ist. Verstopfung ist jetzt kaum vorhanden. Sollte sie wieder auftauchen, gibt es Fibre Response als Leckerli!
