"This is a perfect book" says my 2.5 year old
My daughter loves this book and she's not hugely interested in trains. I bought it on a friend's recommendation. We will be buying the cars one too!

It’s not a story book.
This is a nice enough book with loads of colourful train pictures. It’s not a story book however, and it’s quite flimsy for the price. Grandson loves it though and if he’s happy, I’m happy.

Fabulous!
Bright, bold, shiny, completely immersive artwork with loads to spot, all coupled with Donna David's clever rhyming. Wooshes you along with a steady hand and stable rhythm, allowing you to relax into the text itself (always the sign of a good rhymer!) and oh! what fun the text is, too!. The simplest things are often the hardest to create and David has excelled herself - I completely love this book! Bravo!

Lovely rhymes and wonderful illustrations
This is perfect for my 2 year old who loves rhymes, spotting things and trains! And his big sister loves the numbers on each train and finding which train has which number. So excited to see there is a sequel!

Bright interactive book
I received this book for free, but this is my honest opinion.I was sceptical as trains have not been a fascination of my daughter's. However they both really enjoyed the book as the illustrations were very bright and colourful. I liked that the book incorporated lots of learning for various ages (numbers for my elder daughter learning to recognise these numbers, opposites, counting, rhyming and then recognising colours, animals, shapes for my younger daughter).I did find the book repetitive but this is to help them learn although would have preferred there to be a storyline. As explained above the learning aspect of the book was fab! This enabled us to have many conversations and games whilst reading to count how many trains, find the colours, find the animals etc. Then also the prompts at the back of the book provided more learning aids.Overall I would buy another similar book with my children to help with their learning stage.

Bright and colourful
The book is great for pre-school age as it’s very bright and colourful, full of funny and interesting illustrations and the children can interact with it on their own.The trains are numbered from 1 to 50 and this helps developing maths skills as counting, recognising numbers, etc. It’s nice for learning colours, sizes different types of vehicles (mostly trains) and is suitable for both girls and boys. The only downside is that there isn’t a real story that unfolds so the book is a little bit repetitive and could become a little boring after few readings and not so interesting for older kids.

Colourful, Fun and Educational Read Perfect For Young Train Fans 🚂
Trains, Trains, Trains! is a very popular book with the children. They loved this book so much they didn't want me to turn the pages as they'd not finished looking!Whilst reading the book it is mostly describing trains but the way it flows makes it really easy for the children to be read and listen to and it kept their attention throughout. I like the simplicity and fun of this style of writing as it helped the children focus on describing words and how they'd describe the trains. They really liked the Christmas train, I don't think there is one so I presume that's what they thought of the red train. At least they were thinking about trains and using their imagination though! The illustrations are so bold and colourful and there's so much to look at on each page. They are perfect for young children with how eye catching they are but it's also great for slightly older children as each train is numbered and shown in the book in order which I loved as it allows the children to count them all the way up to fifty or at least recognise a few numbers along the way.The book ends with a great fold out page that asks which train is your favourite however we never made it past the first page without the children excitedly sharing their thoughts on the trains and what they liked best. This meant it took quite a while to read the book but they were having so much fun taking it all in. The favourites seemed to be the fast train, the jelly train and the upside down seats of your pants-y train! We loved this book and the children had so much fun reading it. It's one of those books they'll happily read by themselves taking in all the pictures but will also ask for it to be read numerous times and never get bored. This is the perfect fun and educational story for young train fans.

Great little book
Great book, lovely bright colours and layout interesting for younger kids. Rhyming is a great feature.I would say this is especially good for aged 1-3 years, although my 5 year old enjoyed it just as much!We were gifted this book in return for an honest review.
