Fashions School Pack

This is a really cute set of two school theme outfits for the Original body style Barbie. There are four pieces of clothing in the set along with one pair of shoes, a backpack (that opens and closes) and a headband. The jacket in the set can be worn with the dress but otherwise, the clothing pieces do not mix and match. The clothing separates are: Light pink stretch crop top. The top is held up by two transparent plastic straps and closes in the back with hook and loop. On my top, the seam isn't done properly at the top of the bodice and it keeps flipping up and can be seen easily. If I could give the set a 4.5 over this issue, I would do so. Red and pink non-stretch plaid pants. The pants are a woven polyester material with no give and have a serge hem waist and pants leg hem. They close in the back with hook and loop. White, metallic gold and pink Letterman style jacket with printed on detail over the top of the front left side. The body is white pleather with gold lame sleeves. These materials do not stretch. The collar is pink knit stretch material. The sleeves and bottom the jacket are turned hems while the serge detail down the front of the jacket and the top stitching is in pink. The dress is a single piece with stretch top and non-stretch bottom. It closes in the back with hook and loop. The sleeveless bodice is knit pink fabric with horse details in a darker pink and blue. It has a woven blue collar. The skirt portion of the dress is medium blue with pleats only in the front. It has a white ribbon waist. The bottom of the dress is a serge hem in blue while the rest of the top stitching is white or pink depending on the fabric color it matches. The accessories are white plastic boots with a cool buckle detail; a pink backpack that actually opens and closes, and a gold metallic headband with a star detail. I decided to try the dresses included in this set on all body styles and here is the result: Original Body: All clothing and accessories fit on the Original Barbie doll. The one slight exception is the shoes. They fit best on the flat foot. They do fit on an arched foot but they tilt weirdly forward. Petite: All clothing and accessories fit on the Petite Barbie doll. The pants are long and the sleeves fit at the wrist (as opposed to more three quarter on the other dolls.) The one slight exception is the shoes. They fit best on the flat foot. They do fit on an arched foot but they tilt weirdly forward. Tall: All clothing and accessories fit on the Tall Barbie doll. All clothing was shorter than on the other dolls with the pants were more of an ankle or even crop length. The one slight exception is the shoes. They fit on the arched foot but not on the flat foot. Made-to-Move: All clothing and accessories fit on the Made-to-Move doll. Curvy: Only the crop top and the jacket fit on the Curvy Barbie doll. The pants and dress could not get past the hips. The accessories fit except that the shoes fit on the arched foot but not on the flat foot. I hope that Mattel comes out with this style for Curvy as well as Original as it is focused on school and that would be of great interest to girls who want to play with their dolls. I haven't seen that it is available though I have noted that when clothing sets are made for Curvy most of the retailers don't carry them and the individuals who sell them do so at a premium price.

My 8-yr. old granddaughter loved these outfits for her Barbies! Well-made with great attention to details. Mattel Barbie fashions are fairly expensive so I checked out several cheaper brands. There seemed to be no comparison regarding quality. Glad I decided to spend the money! So cute I felt eager to dress Barbie!

Beautiful set, but watch if your buying for curvy Barbies. Only the top works well on them. The dress was OK also, but it almost ripped in the back.

Amazing outfit. Quality is highest I ever seen, colors and materials are very beautiful and fancy, easy to dress, the bag can be opened.

My Granddaughter loved the school pack clothes. Barbies backpack looks a lot like hers. Clothes are made of good quality and very stylish. Items were shipped on time and in perfect condition.

Great quality but way overpriced. Not an Amazon issue, that's just Barbie's genius sales strategy!

Priced right- and Barbie never has enough clothes to wear! These seem to be well made- A gift to a Christmas child, so cannot follow up, but sure looked good to me.

This two outfit fashion pack combines a classy equestrian printed & pleated short dress, complete with white ankle boots & a second outfit that combines a pair of checked slacks, a pink tank top & a gorgeous white and gold jacket. There is also a gold headband that suits the jacket, slacks set well, and a pink backpack that perfectly adds a college girl appeal to the pleated, sleeveless dress. A truly special fashion pack.

Good set for Barbie dolls .Hard to find nice looking clothes for a five year old.
