I’ve had this little green machine for about a year now and I’ve loved it the whole time. But after this last weekend I feel I need to finally write a review. If you’re on the fence about it, JUST GET IT! This Last weekend my family of 6 all got hit with what I can only describe as flupocolypse. I have done so much laundry and cleaned up so much bodily fluid and little green has been the biggest lifesaver! From the living room rugs to bedroom rugs and even my mattress, I’ve used this machine on so many different surfaces and textures and even sizes that I’m just so impressed with how easy it is to cleanup a mess. It works so well, like cleans super well and gets out stains, which also helps remove odors. I’m still recovering so I haven’t had the energy to do deep cleaning like I want to but little green is so easy to just plug in and get it done. The little hose cleaner attachment is wonderful too. My machine is always clean because they make it so easy to maintain. It’s very easily portable to carry anywhere I have needed it. And on an unrelated incident, while still sick, I had to clean a spill out of my car and it took my 5 minutes to get it cleaned, that time includes grabbing the extension cord from the garage, actual cleaning, and then putting it away. I love this machine. Buy it, don’t hesitate!

4 cats keep our cabin in the woods free from small vermin. However they do make messes from time to time. Cat yack and hair balls are part of small pet ownership. They always seem to target the carpet and upholstery rather than the bare floor. The Bissell portable carpet cleaner is ideal! We’ve had it over a year and cleaned up numerous spots on carpet, kitchen and dining room chairs. In every case this unit has successfully cleaned even deep dried messes we didn’t immediately notice. I also recommend Bissells pet stain cleaning solution. This particular package has samples included. Photo shows before and after treatment. In this case these cat yack stains occurred while we were away. So they they were about a week old and set.

I'm not sure what I was expecting... maybe a miracle. Did not get the old stains out of the carpet, granted these were already months old and previous attempts were already made at it. The vacuum was not as easy to use as I thought it would be. It was bulky and cumbersome to hold and tote around. The tubing kept coming off the base as I moved it around the house for storage. Setting up the tank for use, once filled with warm solution, did not seal fully/sprayed out as I turned it over to place it in the base. I suspect this isn't an issue if you use plain room temperature water. The clean solution tank did not leak once it was fixed to the base, but yea, you won't want to do that prep just anywhere. The vacuum suction itself seemed adequate but not super powerful... I did have a wet spot on my carpet and I did end up just putting a fan over it for a few hours. To pick up any stains (or liquid) you have to move the handheld attachment and move it over VERY SLOWLY. Afterwards, cleaning the machine seems pretty easy on first use, however, I don't like having to figure out where to store the attachments. That said the build quality on the machine seems to be BISSELL good. Four stars because it does vacuum and spray and do all the things, 1 star removed for having to manage bulky attachments separately (no storage solution), leaking a bit during setup (following warm water instructions) and not performing the stain removal. :P

I’ve owned the Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe (Model 3353) for nearly three years, and up until now, I would have recommended it without hesitation. It performed well, handled pet messes effectively, and seemed like a solid value for the price. That all changed today. When I pulled it out for a routine cleaning, it began leaking dirty water straight out of the base—rendering it completely unusable. After inspecting it, I discovered the issue: a deteriorated internal gasket seal. A tiny, inexpensive component, likely worth less than a dollar, has effectively turned a $110 machine into landfill waste. Here’s the real problem: that gasket is not available as a replacement part. Not from the manufacturer, not through official channels. Nowhere. So instead of a simple, logical repair, the only “solution” is to throw the entire unit away and buy a new one. That’s unacceptable. This isn’t just about inconvenience. It’s about design philosophy. Products like this should be built with basic serviceability in mind. When a single wear component fails, especially something as trivial as a gasket, there should be a clear and supported path to repair. The fact that there isn’t speaks volumes. For a company that markets heavily around pet ownership and everyday messes, Bissell should understand that longevity matters. Customers don’t expect these machines to last forever, but they do expect them to be fixable when predictable wear-and-tear occurs. I absolutely love this! I’ve had it now for a couple of years and it works perfectly. I use it for spot cleaning, but I’ve found that it’s simple and good to use for entire rooms. It cleans very well, is easy to use and easy to clean up.

On my first impression, I ordered the pet cleaner box. When it showed up on my porch I wasnt sure what it was because the outside of one side of the box said “cat cubby,” I came to find out it’s so that you can make a little place for your cats out of the box when you’re done! This vacuum is great. I used it the moment it arrived and it’s so easy to use and simple to figure out. For any confusion, it came with an owner’s manual with detailed charts and what each attachment of the vacuum was recommended for. I had a slight concern for how strong the suction is, as i held my hand up to the end (with the wide cleaning attachment on) and didn’t feel so much airflow. When placing my hand fully against the end of the nozzle, the suction was stronger as it made a vacuum, but this means it still leaves surfaces damp when you’re done with it, which is totally okay!! THE ONLY ISSUE I had with this was when I was done using the carpet washing attachment (the one with the spray nozzle and clear little bowl on the bottom) water started to leak out, which was something mentioned a lot in the other reviews. However, this is avoidable!!! Before turning your vacuum off, make sure that you hold the nozzle upright (with the top [nose] of the piece facing the ceiling) so that all of the excess water goes out of the hand piece and gets sucked down the hose. Along with this, you can easily detach the bowl that leaks. Overall this vacuum is wonderful and really does exactly what it’s supposed to do. This cleaner seemingly removed years of dirt and litter buildup within minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid cleaner.
