My '17 KIA Sportage SX Turbo started using oil around 48,000 miles. Its not like I wasn't using good oil - I had been using Pennzoil Platinum since 10K miles. I switched to the Mobil1 Hi-Mileage/Extended Performance, and over about 2 years the oil consumption slowed to only about 12 oz in 5800 miles - this is very minor oil use and within the limits of expectations with a turbo engine. I eventually changed to different types of Mobil1 in my other two vehicles and they all continue to do great.

This oil is difficult to locate in my home area. Works awesome in my 2014 BMW 328d and has kept my going at 216,000 miles!

Always looking to get oil for oil changes I do myself at a good price. This was fine.

Latest high grade synthetic Mobile 1, 0w-30 motor oil. Used in a 2014 Honda CrV that typically uses 0w-20 grade oil (engine has 150,000 mile on it). Better viscosity at higher temperatures shown to protect smaller, high mileage Asian engines. I also add a can of liquid Mo friction proofing at every oil change. My 2.4 liter Honda CrV engine runs very smoothly and trouble free (change oil every 4000 miles). .

I use it in place of the 0-20 Car engine sounds such smoother and the cost from amazon is much cheaper then from the local auto part store Only reason for 4 stars rather then 5, is that I wish they made it in the extended performance version,

I just changed to this and the next day I got the best highway mileage in the last 40k miles! Was it the oil or...?
