Does this have interval movement (i.e. does it turn and stop for photos at set intervals to insure quality images)?

When using the app that comes with the Foldio, it will rotate, stop, shoot, then rotate again, until it has captured the amount of photos you request. There is no blurriness.

Haw many steps/images before the turn table conpletes 360 degree? For example, 45 images/steps, 90 images/steps.

You have choices. I think the max is 48 frames.

How can you edit out the background to make it pure white? Does the app do that? thanks

The app does not do that. It is all abiut photography and correct camera settings, white balancing, ISO, etc... then using software like light room, last, cutting of pictures
