Opening the bag they came in, my first impression was that these look like nice cables; all the things I'd like to see seemed good. But then the smell was significant of something offgassing. Seems to have cleared 24hrs later. Also the strain-relief spring is a bit of an oddity. I managed to identify the smell, too me a bit as I don't normally partake in such endeavors; let's just say that Cheech and Chong may have been involved in building these cables.

Durch das Nylongeflecht wirkt es nicht nur extrem hochwertig, sondern ist auch spürbar robuster als Standard-Plastikkabel. Ein riesiger Vorteil des Geflechts: Das Kabel ist gut vor Kabelbrüchen geschützt, ziemlich flexibel und verheddert sich bei Weitem nicht so leicht. Die Stecker aus Metall sind massiv verarbeitet und rasten sauber und fest ein. Sowohl am Mikrofon als auch am Audio-Interface sitzt alles bombenfest – da wackelt absolut nichts. Auch bei der Signalqualität gibt es rein gar nichts zu meckern. Die Übertragung ist glasklar, es gibt keinerlei Rauschen, Knacken oder Brummen. Die Abschirmung scheint hier also einen sehr guten Job zu machen. Mit 1 Meter Länge ist dieses Kabel natürlich recht kurz, aber genau das habe ich für mein Schreibtisch-Setup gesucht. So hängen keine meterlangen Kabel im Weg herum und alles sieht aufgeräumt aus. Fazit: Ein strapazierfähiges, toll verarbeitetes XLR-Kabel, das seinen Zweck zu 100 % erfüllt und dabei noch richtig gut aussieht.
