Urnex Coffee Maker Cleaner and Descaler Kit - 2 Single Use Bottles - Professional at Home Coffee Machine Cleaning and Descaling

There are two bottles of cleaning supplies in the box, one for descaling and one for cleaning the machine's innards (oil residue and build up.) The directions are CLEAR and exact, easy to follow, and the machine's tank and carafe looked like NEW when I was done. You decant the descaler liquid first in Step 1, then following directions, you will run three more tanks full of just water. Identical instructions for the cleaning fluid in Step 2, cleaning fluid, then three more tanks full of nothing but water. I actually ran four tanks in Step 2. I made a cup of freshly ground Ethiopian Sidamo coffee and it tasted GREAT. I knew it was time for a cleaning round; we all know when it's time, it's just that six to seven cycles of the coffee maker does take some commitment to the process. I had a project going on at the same time that allowed me to check on it and keep the steps going, but keep that in mind -- it's an EASY process, but can be time consuming. Don't short cut it, it's really not worth doing that. OTOH, it's REALLY worth doing all of it as directed because your coffee will taste great again. JFYI: we have a Technovorm Moccamaster model coffee maker, and it's incredible. If one can be "in love" with a machine, this would be it. Now, with the Urnex kit, it's going to get the care and attention it deserves.

These work perfectly for descaling and cleaning our Keurig and Moccamaster coffee makers.

We use this on our Technivorm Moccamaster. This kit is easy to use and really does the trick. The pot comes out sparkling like new once you use it. I put this on subscribe and save to remind me to do it every 3 months. As soon as it arrives, I descale and clear our coffee maker.

The product worked just like it was advertised HOWEVER if you want to use this product for a coffee maker that has not been cleaned for over 3 years, I would advise not using this product. 1. My coffee maker had so much accumulated limescales that the product cleaned it all but left a sludge at the base of the reservoir that could not be flushed using the 3 time flushing method. 2 More important, my coffee maker used a metal elbow in the plastic tubing to stop crimping. Because of this, the huge amount of accumulated sludge blocked the tube which allowed the water going from the reservoir to the heating element, I didn't find out about this until took the coffee maker apart and the plastic tubing cracked when I tried to unplug the tube. Again I say this had nothing to do with the product. I can honestly say the product worked to good and I did not ask for a refund since it was the coffee makers problem.

Absolute best coffee maker cleaner. I got so much old coffee residue out! Rinsed many times til the water ran clear. Coffee tastes good now!

We have both Ninja and Moccamaster coffee makes in two households we maintain with very hardwater. We run one of these kits through every time we have to buy a new box of filters for the machines. It keeps them running well and the coffee tasting great. Before finding these cleaning kits the Ninja would only last about 12-18 months before they would start brewing only half a pot and the clean lights would never go out. This is way better than vinegar!

Works very well and much easier than the powdered version. Still time consuming (the multiple run-throughs with plain water after using each bottle), but much less messy IMO.

I had used powdered descaler however, after two tries it just wasn't doing the job properly. So I gave the Umex liquid descaler a try and it worked perfectly. Coffee maker is back working like new.

It was my error in ordering this product. I wanted a multiuser bottle. This did clean and descale my OXO 8-cup coffee maker (excellent coffee maker), but was pricey for size.
