Just as good as the ones I got from medical supply
I ordered these because the fitter at the medical supply store gave me a regular length. I'm 5'6, approximately 225 lbs, and apparently don't have long enough legs because the old ones would reach my panty line and still bunch at the top.The petite length on these was just what I needed. They give the same pressure as the med supply ones. They're the same comfort level, and just the same to put on. Putting them on is difficult for me, because I have bad hands. These reach almost to my panty line, but no bunching. They usually stay pretty well, I've only had them fall down once and it was only one of them.I use these for POTS, along with a corset for abdominal compression. Your mileage may vary as to whether these will help you. I didn't feel much of a difference in symptoms until I added the corset, that made a huge difference. If you are wearing them with abdominal compression, try taking off the abdominal compression first, wait an hour, then take the stockings off. I tried taking it all off at once, and felt much more ill than normal for several hours, even with lying down. One of the stockings of the two pair I ordered has developed a very small hole after 10 or so wears, which is a little disappointing but I probablydid it with my nail on accident. However, it continues to work and the hole hasn't gotten any worse so I'm not too concerned and just a bit more careful.

The best compression stockings!
The media could not be loaded. I have varicose veins and my legs swell very much, especially on a trip, I tried many different companies and there was not enough compression for me to have an effect, and I was always uncomfortable. Before my next long trip, I ordered these stockings. I liked that there is a high compression of more than 30 and you do not need to have a doctor's prescription. Friends, I'm shocked, this one is perfect! My legs have taken shape, they have become much thinner, because the swelling has been removed. Also my feet became warm, due to the lack of circulation in my legs, my toes were always cold. I have size S, took according to the table. Everything fully corresponds to the parameters. Dressing is not easy, but you need to read the instructions, there is a way that will help you to do it easily. The stockings do not fall off, the top of the stockings with silicone does not press, I am tall and the stockings reach the very top of my thighs! I am happy and recommend it to everyone! With great regards, @catwalkblonde professional model

Extended travel like that is where DVTs strike most
I have worked in the pharmacy/DME industry for a long time, so I knew that Jobst was the ONLY company from which to purchase medical hosiery. When I experienced what was suspected to be a DVT (deep vein thrombosis - a clot in a major vein in my body. These are extremely dangerous as these clots can break loose and move to the lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism. PE's are extremely fatal and over 300,000 people per year worldwide die suddenly from PEs!) I began to take action to prevent another DVT. Taking an 81mg Aspirin every day, as well as being very cautious about the length of time I am sitting or lying immobile. For my upcoming cross-country move, I will be riding in a car for a total of almost 20 hours (over two days). Extended travel like that is where DVTs strike most. These Jobst compression stockings will help keep the blood in my lower extremities flowing. This pressure, 30-40mmHg, is one of the higher compression strengths available, and is usually available only by prescription from your doctor (where I am located). My extensive experience with Jobst made me feel confident in my ability to choose the strengths I needed. *** READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!!! *** Make sure that you google image search "JOBST STOCKING MEASUREMENT GUIDE" before you purchase -- the sizing is absolutely specific, and there are charts on the back of each package that will tell you what size you fall into. These are all available on google images when you search. Measure BOTH legs with a seamstress measuring tape/fabric measuring where the images indicate (widest part of ankles, widest part of calf, and for thigh highs, widest part of thigh) and write your measurements down for each leg. Then find which size you correlate to - you may be right between two sizes on one measurement on one leg, but not usually both. ***The sizing really is easy. They are NOT regular stockings though, they WILL be VERY TIGHT! That's the point!Another pro tip: DO NOT attempt to put these on like pantyhose or stockings. DO NOT BUNCH THEM UP TO THE TOE and then try to pull them on. By doing that, you are putting ALL of the compression strength in one band, and you will NOT be strong enough to pull against it. Leave the stocking out long, hold the opening wide with both hands, and then insert your foot as far as it will go. Then, try to shimmy it up your leg further by using a WIDE OPEN PALM (think like you're about to give a high five) and using the traction from your palm to slide the hosiery upward. DON'T try to pull up little pieces of fabric to pull with your finger tips! These are probably thick enough to stand up to that, but the regular hosiery design WILL run and tear from that. If the traction from your hands is not enough, go grab a rubber dishwashing glove (dry and new, obviously) and don those. Then do the same open-palmed shimmy. That should make it exponentially easier to put them on. The higher the strength (mmHg) the more difficult they will be to put on.To take them off, simply flip the top edge over and pull them straight down, turning them inside out as you pull. That's the easiest way. Then you can right side them when they are off.Anyway, JOBST stockings are absolutely, in my opinion, the #1 compression stocking on the market. We are extremely lucky that we can purchase strengths greater than 15-20mmHg here on Amazon! But if you are just starting, or just decided to purchase compression stockings on your own (not at the request of your doctor) definitely go back to the 15-20mmHg strength and try those first. 20-30mmHg is medium strength and 30-40mmHg is indicated frequently for patients with diagnosed venous problems, DVT, clotting, or post-surgical patients. So please do know your information when you buy them!Otherwise, these are the RELIEF line, not the "Real-looking hosiery" line - They are not designed to be pretty or look like pantyhose. The quality is EXCELLENT, the color (Beige) is a pretty standard caucasian light tan, the fabric is thick like tights, but woven because of the compression. There is no compression in the toes, for comfort and safety. The silicone dots at the top of the thigh highs are very 'sticky' and do a great job of keeping these in place. If your doctor has told you to purchase 30-40mmHg or high compression thigh-high stockings, these (or any Jobst stocking) are definitely the ones to purchase.

If you love pulling them ALL DAY, these are for you
One of the most annoying items I have ever purchased in my life. I spent the entire day pulling these things up. I bought the size according to my measurements as per their chart. I ended up in the bathroom hoisting these up all day at work. We wear scrubs at work and for over half the day, these thigh highs were flopping around my mid calves. I will never ever wear these again. It made my day at work the most annoying I’ve ever experienced. Two massive thumbs down.

Good quality
I like the wider bands at the top that keeps them from rolling down. Jobst is always a quality product. It is the only brand I will buy. It costs more but quality does cost more.

Comfortable for large thighs; no rolling down!
I have tried on multiple pairs of compression garments/thigh-highs and until now they have all severely dug into and cut-off circulation on my large thighs. The Jobst thigh-highs are the only pair that have stretched to be completely comfortable on the shape of my thigh, and the non-slip hem keeps them from rolling down! So happy I am finally comfortable!

Good daily compression
This is the second pair of thigh high hose I have purchased. I have worn the panty hose style because I didn’t think these would stay in place. They stay up much better than I expected. They do loosen after a couple of days but return to stay up after washing.
