Giant Cheetah - Lifelike Stuffed Animal (Stands Nearly 3 Feet Tall)

I purchased four of these large animals for our granddaughters for Christmas 2024. (Giraffe, horse, unicorn and Dalmatian). They were all thrilled, especially after trading until they each got what they wanted! Prior to this past Christmas, one of my granddaughters whispered in my ear, asking if I was getting them more of these animals again. I wasn’t, as they do take up a lot of space! BUT, I couldn’t resist the Cheetah as a birthday gift for this granddaughter’s March birthday! They are very large (almost life size), extremely well made, and sturdy. They stand on their own. I feel the cheetah is my favorite of all seven I’ve purchased in the past two years. (I had purchased both the lion and tiger, but did return them. They each have one front leg that is longer than the other, so they can be crossed. However, when uncrossed, and one is longer than the other, it just looks kind of strange to me.)

Love it!!! My kids room is a jungle theme. Fits in perfectly. Realistic without being over whelming for a child.

This unyielding, oversized beast hangs out in my daughter's room and watches her while she sleeps. It has given me pause a couple of times because it has a very serious, fierce Cheetah face. Angry even. This isn't your garden variety Beanie Boo or cute puffy kitty plush. This is a predator and it lets you know it. Way back when I was a kid, back when we wore newspapers around our feet instead of shoes to trudge to school in 18 feet of snow, I had a panther like this. It was all black and scary enough to send the house cat running full speed out of the room with a puffy tail. I loved my Bagheera so dearly, like my daughter loves this Cheetah. Some sort of magic happens when little girls receive a giant stuffed cat for the Christmas of their 8th year. Alas, my Bagheera crossed the stuffed animal Rainbow Bridge many years ago, but he will always be fondly remembered. I am very happy that my daughter is also able to shower her love on a giant, regal stuffed animal like I did as a kid, when we lived without electricity or indoor toilets, and my only source of heat was snuggling with my stuffed wild cat. I always took my Bagheera to the outhouse with me in the dead on the night to scare off the wolves, coyotes, and wild boar. That I am here writing this today is evidence that my stuffed cat had a huge impact on my young life. I have no doubt that this Cheetah would also do a great job of deterring bears and badgers on a late night stroll to use the toilet. Thankfully my daughter will never have to deal with such harrowing circumstances, but nevertheless, even if its only job is to sit in a room looking majestic, I highly recommend that you gift this Cheetah to a lucky kid.

I just received this item from Amazon that has a great price on it and am very happy. Others have said that it does not stand up on its own by my Cheetah stands just fine. The tail is long and and interesting and the Cheetah is a great height compared to the Zebra, Giraffe, Penguin and Lion-which my son also has. I bought this ultimately so he could play with it but also for decoration of his nursery (he is 1 year old). as a Savannah scene. I cannot imaging getting a better deal than $47 with free shipping through Amazon Prime! This is from Melissa and Doug so you know they have great quality. If you have other animals from this series it has the same look and feel and if you don't-this is a great place to start. What child would not want this cheetah? FYI, I love all the Melissa and Doug animals and the older kids that come over to play with our son have so much fun playing with them and pretending they are real. Because of their size they are so much better than just small versions and look great as nursery decor as well!

My 6 years old's favorite animal is cheetah, so we bought it as Christmas gift. Shipping was quick with no issues. My daughter was very excited and loves this cheetah. The toy has very realistic features, the eyes just look real. According to my daughter the only differences from the real one is that the tip of the tail is black and should be white (I had to verify this one out on the internet ;) and it's missing wiskers. As for the quality of the toy, I was disappointed. One of our cheetah's front legs is shorter than the other one, so it easily falls on it's side. I had to fold a piece of fabric and tie it under the paw so it sits without falling. I asked my daughter is she wants to "send the cheetah to the hospital" (meaning exchange) to get her paw fixed. She started crying saying she wants the paw fixed but she does not want her cheetah go. So I decided to exchange it and sent the old one back when the new one arrives without telling my daughter. The exchange came very quickly, almost next day. I was glad I did not send the first cheetah back before I got the second one! The new one was much worse, it had a front paw turned inside and had a rip. All 4 legs were so close together that the cheetah would now fall ahead even if lightly touched. We decided to send the replacement back and keep our first one just because my daughter loves it so much. BTW. it's made in China.

This is a hit in our home. Stands elegantly without sagging and slumping, doubles as a nice body pillow and all around great companion to vanquish night-predators and other nightmare creatures. Magically doesn’t attract the pet fur that sticks to all other fabrics in our house.

I was delighted with the size, quality and detail on this stuffed animal. My grandsons were beyond delighted with the cheetah and the lion. When I ordered I was concerned that the sizes of these two animals might be dramatically different and I would have had to return them if they hadn’t matched up. They’re perfect and 3 year old approved as well. I feel like these will be a gift that is kept and lived for a long time

This cheetah is absolutely amazing - so large - just about fits in my car!!! I have never seen such a well made animal - would love another one! Looks real also. Had tons of compliments.
