Review: Great Autism Gift or eye-catching party favor - I ordered this for a birthday party for a severely autistic individual. He is hard to buy for and doesn't use toys on his own much, he usually needs someone to guide him. He enjoys these sticks on his own and will carry one around all day, adjusting them and looking at the lights. He hasn't messed with the lights on the inside or torn the tube up so far. I do watch him with them though, for safety. The only destruction I've seen so far is that when you stretch them out/fold them up a lot, the plastic will eventually show a bit of wear. There is an on/off switch that is quite small and not really noticeable to someone who is not looking for it. You can make the stick a ring and place it on your head (fit for kids). They were a hit at the party with everyone since they are eye-catching and fun. The glow sticks are the unfolding/crinkling plastic fidget toys that are often used as reinforcement in school, with the added fun of lights inside. Each color of tube has corresponding colored lights inside, so they look great. They are lightweight plastic and will wear out eventually. Very fun purchase and I will order again!

**Q: Do they make cool noise when you swing them!**
A: no

**Q: Are these waterproof/water resistant?**
A: No they are not.

**Q: Could these me made into light sabers? Or are they too short?  Says they can be stretched.**
A: I would say know to making into light sabers. They are only about a 1 1/2 inch diameter and are too bendy to stay rigid as a light saber.

**Q: How long does the battery last? Is it replaceable?**
A: The battery did not last longer than a few days with each of the tubes. Christmas day till maybe New Year's, and that was only because there were 8 in the box. 
The item is not rechargeable.
