High quality and potent. Taste and aroma are earthy, and good. Easy to use and great value for the amount in the package. Beware, however, that because it is of such high quality that the beta carotene content is high. I found out I can't use this because of allergies I have to beta carotene. I can't eat raw carrots or kiwi or else I get severe allergic reaction. I found that this product does the same thing. I know it's the real deal because of my reaction. My husband will be using it in his smoothies as he as no such allergies. High quality product. EDIT: Maybe I'll try cooking with it. I can eat cooked carrots if they're well cooked and I love them.
