Feature-Packed Powerhouse – The Best Radio Transmitter on the Market!
The RadioMaster TX16S Mark II is hands-down one of the best radio transmitters I’ve ever used. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully upgraded in this version—from performance to ergonomics and overall functionality. Starting with the internal circuitry and power supply improvements, this thing runs cooler and more efficiently than ever. The new removable battery cover and the raised/flat grip options make it easy to customize the feel in your hands. The S1/S2 knobs now have precise center detents, which is a small but super satisfying detail that makes adjustments more intuitive and controlled. The 4.3” IPS color display is a game-changer. It’s bright, crisp, and easily viewable even in direct sunlight. Combined with adjustable brightness, it’s perfect for indoor tuning or field use. Model setup is smooth and visually clean with EdgeTX’s modern interface. One of my favorite additions is the 3.5mm headphone jack and built-in dual speakers. Whether you’re using audio cues or just want cleaner sound feedback, this gives you options that other transmitters often lack. The external module bay is another massive plus. With native support for TBS MicroTX modules in CRSF mode and LUA script compatibility, switching between internal RF and Crossfire is done seamlessly in software—which does not require removing/replacing modules! And finally, having EdgeTX pre-installed with touchscreen support is just icing on the cake. Smooth, responsive, and powerful, it gives you full control without digging through complex menus. If you’re serious about the hobby—whether you’re flying Tiny Whoops, 5” racers, or fixed wings—this is the only radio you’ll need. Absolute top-tier performance and unbeatable value.

Two Month Review
I highly recommend this radio for beginners! My reasoning is that once you buy this radio, you will not need anything else. In 2006 when my son was 12 years old, I built a matching pair of Associated T3 trucks with Futaba FM pistol grip radios. This was before the days of 2.4GHz. We played with the trucks then he grew out of it so I sold the trucks and radios. In 2014, I played with a lot of toy-grade helicopters and quadcopters. Each of these toys came with their own transmitter so there was a proliferation of transmitters in my house. Then I forgot about RC again for a while. A couple of years ago, my buddy gave me his old Spektrum DX6 and two old planes. The DX6 is ok but is locked into the DSMX protocol. I started looking for a new general purpose RC radio and found the Radiomaster TX16S. I bought the 4-in-1 version. Apparently, at all the drone races today, this is the radio that most of the pilots use. I have been searching for this kind of radio for many years. It can fly many different kinds of toy-grade aircraft. The ability to fly a cheap toy-grade quadcopter, helicopter, or airplane with a high quality hobby-grade transmitter is awesome! This radio has a learning curve but there are many youtube videos on how to setup almost any type of aircraft. I have bound it to 3 DSMX airplanes, a Wltoys V912 helicopter, XK 100 and XK110 helicopters, GEPRC Phantom drone, Happymodel Mobula7 drone, and an OMPHobby M2 helicopter. This radio works great on all my aircraft. The touchscreen is awesome. There are many switches and settings so it can be daunting for newbies but the radio is super powerful in what it can do. It does airplanes, helicopters and drones equally well. It can fly any type of aircraft which is compatible. Worth every penny!

Great transmitter
I like it better than my spektrum. You cant beat the number of channels, and it binds to every reciever i can think of. It doesnt cost a ton of money compared to the same channel spektrum. Its also open source so updates are easy. Only downside is the control mapping is a bit different so its not plug and play like spektrum but is fairly easy.

Good radio, maybe take a xanax before trying to update the thing but yeah..
This thing is kinda taking over Spektrums spot as the industry standard radio. Took of a star because sometimes it makes me want to kill myself.

This radio can be programmed to work with small warbirds
This radio will allow the setup of small airplanes like the ones in this video. There is nothing else to buy for the radio other than a battery. The radio has a charging circuit to charge a lithium battery pack. Battery not included with radio.
