This solder is easy to work with and is high quality. The solder you get with soldering irons or with other solding tools at the home improvement locations usually isn't as good as this. Most of my projects are electronic related. This wire is excellent, has a good working temperature and holds up well. Most of the other stuff I have is way too thick and requires a much higher tip temperature, something I don't want, for the jobs I do this solder is well suited.

Purchased this one to replace my last roll which I recently used up. This is great general purpose solder - the flux flows well and doesn't smell too rancid, the solder wets out to leads and PCBs as expected. Maybe not the best for super precise work, or where you can't use leaded solder for whatever reason, but for a hobbyist or tinkerer this stuff really does the trick.

Anything I buy that has to do with soldering, I buy Weller. I've used Weller products since my USAF days almost 60 years ago. And these decades later, Weller still performs as expected, and this solder is no exception.

I agree with others that its a little on the expensive side but for me it seems to last longer because im not wasting any like I do trying to use cheap solder. It flows and sticks to my work and doesn't bill up and end on my bench like the cheaper stuff. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra few dollars and try the good stuff.

Consistent flux levels inside. Easy to use

Quality solder, a bit expensive but contains a good ratio of quality flux and makes precision work simpler. Doesn't oxidize as quickly as cheap solder either. Works well!

Does great for what I want to use it on, good price and good value

Great solder. I was put onto this from joey does tech YouTube affiliate link as the solder i was using was a AliExpress special that was supposed to be lead but did have that sine to it or didn't flow like lead solder. This is about 4 times the cost of said ali solder but man this stuff is worth it.As a weekend solder-er i was trying to do things on the cheap but honestly this is one of them buy once cry once kind of things this is so much easier to use. It's not that expensive relatively speaking but it feels a lot compared to others. You get a 100g on the reel, the size i bought is 0.3mm and is fine for the small smd stuff i am doing at the moment and mods. 10/10 will buy again and get some larger stuff.

I’ve used many different solders over the decades, this is from recent experience with current available types, the best I have used for wetting and solder-ability. I would buy this again in a blink. It is not inexpensive but excellent value for the savings in time and frustration plus better results.
