Apparently on some German marque brand cars now, the front number plate is stuck on. Mine came off in a powerful car wash. So I invested in this tape and wow... talk about strong. I used about 12 strips on my car reg after cleaning the back of the reg plate and the area where it'll be stuck to thoroughly. It grabbed immediately and that was it, it was that easy... and due to its strength, it was going absolutely nowhere. Fortunately I had it aligned perfectly (Luck not judgement). I drove over 200 miles the next day and it has held firm since then and it's been on now coming up to a month with no issues. Thickness wise, it was perfectly suitable, yet discreet... approximately 3mm ish. Is it a quality product? Absolutely and highly recommendable.

I used this to fix my new number plates on car the back number plate stuck easily but the front number plate did give a few extra problems because my bmw has quite a curve on the bumper a couple of hours after sticking it I could see it coming away on the edges so I put it next to a wall with some spacers on the edge of the number plate so the edges was pressed firmly on Then heated up the number plate with a heat gun for about 4 mins wile on the car so it gave it the bend it needed I left it overnight and it’s perfect It’s been on over a month going through car washes and jet washes and hasn’t come away The tape is great 5 stars but my problem was the stiffness of my number plates

The sticky pads supplied by the manufacturers of my new number plate did not work. This was partially because my car's front bumper has a slight curve, and sticking the number plate right at the left and right edges is challenging. This product worked. But I've got to say that you only get a small amount for the £9 asking price, which feels like a rip-off. This is not a big, thick roll of tape, like you might expect. But then again, I haven't found any other product that advertises this capability. You might be able to find sticky pads rated for outdoor use. But will they be good enough to take the kind of punishment a moving car can deliver? That goes above and beyond just a bit of rain every now and again. And who wants to take the risk of their numberplate falling off when they're driving at speed? So, they have us by the short and curlies, I guess. The roll of tape you get here might serve to fix two or maybe three number plates, spending on how sparingly you use it. Personally, I'd advise using any existing screw fixings on the number plate if you have them available.

I was disappointed in this tape as it didn't hold for me, however, it was a blazing hot day and maybe the heat played a part. One shining light is that the Tiger Team customer service is second to none. They clearly pay attention to the reviews and contacted me with a more than fair resolution so all credit to them!

Hello. The tape is VERY sticky and holds well, but it peels away easily from the roll but sticks excellently. Adherence is very good and i doubt it will ever peel off from my car bumper. Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry and dust free. Only issues are: - When you first try to open the roll there is a bit of sticky tape to cover the double sided foam sticky tape to prevent it from unravelling, be careful with that becuase it sticks well to the double sided tape itself, use a point object to get betweeen the holding tape and the double sided tape itself and slowly scrape out, if you dont do that the double sided tape might come off, and oyu will ahve wasted about 2-3 cm worth of tape which is a lot considering... - just how little tape there is. i get you dont need to use much of it but i would appreciate a bit more. its enough for two license plates (front and back) and maybe a third one if you use only 5 strips instead of 7, i guess my tyip would be use only 5 strips instead of 7 in a | \ | / | pattern, that way its just as secure and you need to use less tape. You can reuse the tape for other uses of course like hanging a painting somewhere.
