I love glass fingernail files to finish the edges of my nails after filing. I do find them too thick and bulky to shape my nails though. This is a good quality glass with a nice finish. I find them easy to use, applying more pressure to remove nail and lighter to smooth them. In my opinion these are a good buy.

I’ve always had weak nails that break easily. For years, I wore acrylics, which only made them worse. After I stopped, I tried everything to grow my natural nails, shifting my focus from just length to overall nail health. A few things have truly helped- this nail file being one of them. The Bona Fide nail file is made from glass, which seals the nail cuticle as you file.. If you have weak nails and aren’t using a glass file, it’s almost impossible to grow them without breakage. Mine certainly never did. I’m 100% convinced my nails are breaking less now that I use this file. I’m able to keep all of them the same length for longer, too. I used to have one nail break, then the rest would follow suit! While my nails still aren’t very long, I can now see the tips when I look at my palm—huge progress for me. This file works best for weak, thin, or medium-strength nails. If you have very brittle or extremely thick, strong nails, you may need a coarser option. It makes it easy to file my nails in one direction (as recommended), and reaches deeper into the sides of my nails than a standard emery board. Plus, it doesn’t leave rough edges or hangnails behind…just perfectly shaped nails. With proper care, this nail file should last forever. Just wash it after use, don’t drop it (it will shatter), and store it in its case. It’s high quality, reasonably priced, and absolutely worth it—your nails will thank you!

This file is pretty and effectively smooths my nails. I use the rounded end to push back cuticles. My nails are very soft, and snag easily. This tool helps me keep them in good shape. I like the sheath that stores the file and keeps it from breaking in my purse.

this thing is really freaking good. i didnt think i could have such strong opinions about a nail file. i hated cutting my nails because after using the clipper my nails would catch everywhere. and my stupid chud metal file sucked buttcheeks to use. the clip + file routine would take me soooo long. i had THREE breaks in TWO weeks and then i waas like aight. i need an intervention. .and bought this thing! BUT NOW, with this incredible thing, i filed down my pretty darn long nails into a short niceys length, and the tips are smooth, i no longer accidentally scratch myself bloody because i dont have claws i have POLITELY SMOOTHED NAILS now. there was a cheaper option but i wasnt going to keep this thing in some drawer so i wanted the hard case. its made of glass after all i didnt want it to snap in the bottom of my heavy as hell bookbag. so i thought it would be relatively cheaper to buy the one with the hard carrying case than to have to buy a new one later because my irresponsible ass broke this one. anyways. big recommend.

Amazing! The glass is so gentle yet effective on the nail, is easy to clean, and it lasts. I have been using this file for a little over a year- worth every penny. I am buying one for my mom's birthday. My only issue: the plastic case will melt/soften if left in the sun or in a warm room. I had a sunroom that was VERY warm (maybe 80 degrees F), and this is where I kept my nail file. Now, if you let the case cool, it won't be an issue. There may be some deformation. However, I tried opening the case, and the tension caused the case to completely deform. I was able to mold the case back a bit, but it definitely looked odd and didn't close perfectly. I no longer use the case, and I use another form of storage. The case may be cheap and lower quality, but the glass file is great- highly recommend.

I love this glass nail file and it comes in a cute little case. It’s durable, effective, and much better for natural nails than a regular nail file. Great price point and selection of colors.

I will never use an emery board or metal file again. File is super-effective and leaves nails very smooth from the first pass. My husband also uses this for hard-to-reach calluses near his toes. If you have sensory issues with emery boards this is so much better. It's very easy to clean and the case works well. Definitely worth the money

Yo limo mis uñas constantemente y ya había tenido una lima de cristal anteriormente, sin embargo había visto muchas que no tenían el cristal uniforme y no servían para nada. esta es excelente y lima perfectamente las uñas. Se las recomiendo a quienes nunca han probado una lima de cristal porque deja uun acabado perfecto a comparación de las limas comunes, sobre todo para el estilo de uña cuadrada.

The file is good and has not worn down after using it for months. I bought this to replace my more expensive glass file which broke and it has served me well in replacement. The case is great for storage and protects it.
