Yes dear, they're the same head.

How does this razor work with shaving butter?

I haven't used the razor with shaving butter but it should be fine. I've used plain soap and creamo shave cream with no problems. Don't know if you're used to a safety razor, but you need some kind of lubricant and a steady hand.
