Rhino USA Kinetic Recovery Rope, 1in x 30ft - Heavy Duty Snatch Strap

While in PINS and five framed vehicles later this kinetic rope is a beast that works well, better than any recovery strap I have ever used. Go for broke on the size no worries that way.

I use this on the farm to pull semis or tractors that need "a budge." This rope is not cheap but it's extremely tough and is MUCH easier to lug around than a 1/2" chain (and much safer when it breaks). I also prefer the rope over a strap since it can be pulled through the loop easily if you don't have a clevis or way to attach the rope. I used mine so much that it began to fray in one spot and eventually broke -- while pulling on it with an 8 wheel tractor. I went to Rhino USA's website, filled out a warranty claim and submitted a picture and had a replacement rope in a few days. This company is legit. This rope is legit. Highly recommended.

Look at the picture. There is no banana for scale, but I've got big hands. Check out the size of this kinetic strap! This was expensive, but when I've got my Diesel truck with camper stuck, I want the best recovery product there is. After a lot of reading, I settled on Rhino. Everything about this is top quality. The attention to detail is good to see. For example, at the ends, where the rope is spliced back into itself, the taper is very well done. Cheaper product does not do that - just an abrupt step change. It makes a difference, and it is not something you would notice unless you knew enough to look for it. Now, a few things. This takes up a huge amount of room. It comes with a duffle bag, but this is going to make a serious dent in the storage space I have. It will also take a pair of good-sized shackles. I bought two soft shackles that should work well. No, I have not tested this yet, but I have used kinetic straps before, and I always wanted one. Now I own one of the best!

Have not used it yet but looks like and awesome rope & the carry bag is top Notch.

Immediately upon opening the box and the bag it comes in I'm met with a tangle of reflective strips poking out of the rope weave. The rope weave may be strong, but the poorly done reflective strip makes it seem easy to snag and causes some of the rope weave to appear loose. I'd stop including the reflective material and it would at least make the rope seem more trustworthy. It may not impact functionality at all, and I'm hoping it won't.

This is a great rope to keep in our 4Runner for treks on back mountain roads!

Great recovery rope. Its well made and durable, has the perfect amount of stretch under load. I pulled out a toyota 4runner from and iced over puddle with one easy pull. Even made $100 from it. Highly recommend.
