I have been using Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy for a few months now and I love it. It is a great pre-workout and energy booster that helps me get through my workouts and my day. It has a delicious fruit fusion flavor that mixes well with water and tastes refreshing. I like that it has green tea and green coffee extracts that provide natural caffeine and antioxidants. It also has BCAA and amino acids that support muscle recovery and endurance. It is keto friendly and has zero sugar, which means I can still take when I am intermittent fasting if I need a pick me up in the morning. I usually take two scoops before my workout and I feel energized and focused. It does not make me jittery or crash like some other pre-workouts. It also helps me with my appetite control and hydration. I sometimes take another scoop in the afternoon when I need a pick-me-up. Orange flavor is better than grape that I tried before, but it is still very sweet. Two scoops per 12 oz of water would be impossible to drink. I use two scoops per 42 oz and it’s still very sweet, but I typically don’t eat sugar, so my taste buds might be too sensitive. At the same time I like the effect of this product. I feel more concentrated and awake during the day. I also use it before my swims, and I don’t have cramps anymore! I just wish I did not have to drink that much water before my practice. P.S. Just read the entire label and found too many ingredients that I don't want to consume. Sad that a good effective drink cannot be healthy. I am not going to buy it anymore.

Amino energy is a great product but has its pros and cons. First, there are a variety of flavors. The orange cooler is one of the better flavors in my opinion, along with watermelon. Fruit fusion and grape taste ok but to me those flavors get "old" pretty quick to my taste buds. I get almost instant energy out of this product. I've used several pre-workouts and although I wouldn't consider this a pre-workout, I use it for one. It gives me a great pep to my step and makes me well alert; hence why I use it for pre workouts as well as for during the day when I have that afternoon slump. I've also replaced drinking coffee with amino energy when I don't have time to make coffee. It really does give me more energy at the gym, but just like anything you take--after a while it tends to have no effect. I lay off the product for a couple weeks and begin taking it again. It's good to cycle off anyway. I am not a huge fan of all the artificial ingredients. You can tell the grape especially is a deep deep purple so I'd stay away from that if you're wanting less "artificial" or chemicals. The product I've noticed does become stale if you don't use it within a couple months of opening it...that's what I get for buying too many flavors at once to try! All in all - good product to keep you awake and alert and to use for a pre-workout. I don't crash on this like I have other caffeinated products. I do however have trouble sleeping at night if taken past 6pm (more than 2 scoops). If you're looking for a mild (not a knock you on your butt) type of product, this is for you!

One of my favorite things about it is the flavor—it’s GREAT. Not overly sweet or artificial, just really enjoyable to drink, which honestly makes me look forward to using it.

Love, love, love this product! I have used all sorts of pre-workout supplements over the years and this one consistently gets me up and going. AMIN.O. Energy won't hit you like some that cause your skin to tingle or give you a jittery feeling. Instead, it provides a very natural energy and focus. The best way I can describe it would be to think of the feeling you get when you wake up from an amazing nap ready to take on the world. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's the best way that I could think of describing it. I can take this while at work and it doesn't put me on edge or make me snappy due to too much caffeine. The taste is much better than I anticipated. I have used the following flavors: -Watermelon - very sweet tasting, but not bad -Concord Grape - great flavor! This one is probably my favorite -Orange Cooler - very smooth orange flavor that is will cover up other flavors if you a mixing I typically purchase AAKG in bulk and add around 5 grams to my AMIN.O. Energy drink. That combination is great for me! If you look around you can normally find this on sale 2 of the 30 serving sizes for around $30.

It tastes good and doesn’t give me energy drink jitters but definitely gives me energy. I have noticed a definite improvement in recovery after starting to use this product. Way better than store bought energy drinks and hell of a lot cheaper.

As you would expect from such a reputable company, another great product. It gave me a nice little energy boots before hitting the gym with no horrible side effects. There is a slight taste to it nothing to over powering much like a cheap own brand squash palatable is the best way to describe it. The powder mixes easily with water (9mg to 330ml) it is as with most of O.Ns range expensive, but you do get what you pay for, yes there are cheaper alternatives, but if cost isn't something you have to worry about this is for you.
