I sometimes have to groom my pup and she hates having her feet touched. This is perfect for trimming her feet and nails. She doesn't seem to mind being in it. It hugs her so she feels safe. I wish I had seen this sooner, it would have saved me a lot of stress trimming her and made the job so much faster. And it is very reasonable for what it does...you will love this.

I use this for both my chihuahuas, it is a must. Helps so much especially because they don’t like to get their nails clipped. I would definitely recommend

I was skeptical when I opened the box. The harness was shrink wrapped and looked impossibly flat and small. Couldn't imagine putting my 5 lb wiggle/contortionist dog in it securely. Surprise, when I got it out of the plastic and opened it up, it looked workable. My dog easily was put into it, and was suspended without so much as a yelp. Granted, she is small, but can fight having her nails trimmed like a crazed kamikaze weasel. She was able to stretch a hind leg out far enough to reach my hand while I grasped the front paw to trim the nails. But I was still able to trim the nails, which has been nearly impossible without this harness gadget. She did not protest at all or try to wriggle in the harness before or after I grasped a paw. She seemed happy as a clam just resting in the harness. The nail clipper/file included were not state of the art, but worked fine. I would have been happy paying the price even if they weren't included. I don't know how well this item would work for a much bigger dog, but for my chi who HATES having her nails trimmed, it worked like a voodoo charm!!! Looks like it will hold up in the wash when needed in the future.

My 7lb yorkie fights like a rattlesnake when I try to trim his nails. To the point I'm afraid he's going to hurt himself bad. I don't know why I waited so long to try this hammock. Once I got him in and had him hanging it was like a dream. He was able to nuzzle my hand while I was doing the front nails but never attempted to bite at me. Miracle! Gave him a treat after each paw and it took about 15 minutes total! And that was because I failed to trim the hair on his feet before I started. Don't know how it'll work the next time, but the first time was worth the cost! Hint: Trim the feet hair first...it took me longer having to try to keep the hair pushed out of the way.

Purchased for my daughter for her cat to help while clipping nails. She said her cat got right out of it while it was hanging up. Not sure how it would work for others pets

This thing is a game changer!! I haven’t been able to cut my chihuahua’s nails since we rescued him 8 years ago! He shakes, bites, screams and carries on as if he’s being tortured. We live about 20 miles from the vets office so it’s a real (expensive) PIA to have to get his nails trimmed every 6 weeks. I put him in this thing and suddenly, I was clipping toenails like it was my job! my husband held it instead of hanging it from the shower curtain rod but the results were everything I’d hoped for! No screaming, no biting, no muzzle, no 40 mile round trip to the vet & no vet bill!! I highly recommend this to anyone with a slightly overweight chihuahua with multiple neurosis that HATES getting his nails clipped!

Have a 4 pound long haired chihuahua that hates having his feet touched. Looked at & watched several videos on Amazon and decided on this item because it looked softer than most of the others & the dogs head appeared to be supported rather than just hanging there. It fits him perfectly, is soft & since he’s so light the 2 metal s hooks support him while he hangs from a metal closet rod. Just hangs there comfortably without any fuss while I trim the hair on his feet & his nails. No squirming or jerking away . The nail clippers work quite well & have a guard so no worries about clipping too much of the nail.

Well made and very useful. My chihuahua is 4 lbs and her front legs are deformed so that her paws turn upwards. She tends to have trouble walking when her nails grow out so its important to keep them short. However, trimming her nails is a nightmare to say the least. I got this sling in hopes I'll be able to keep her nail trimming less traumatic for everyone involved. I got the smallest size offered and it worked well. It's a bit big for her but most things are. She was still able to sit in the swing and we clipped her nails quickly without too many protests. I'm definitely recommending this product to other fur baby parents!
