Brita Water Pitcher, Metro Elite Filter, Removes 99% of Lead, Includes 1 Filter, 6-Cup Capacity, White

Bought this to filter water for my cats. It really does remove the chlorine smell and “tap water taste”, it takes a couple minutes to filter, but it works well. I dropped it right out of the packaging and it cracked, but it does not leak, so its good quality!

Update to the review below: I read about Brita's warranty information and contacted them through Amazon. They swiftly sent a new pitcher as it was under warranty (within 30 days of purchase)! Great customer service. I do like the size and filter but the pitcher is not very sturdy. I had never dropped it but I noticed it's already cracked after a few days of use. It has been on the kitchen counter and may have been banged but my old ones never got cracked like this.

Don't buy this product. I had a Britta water pitcher for many years and it was made of a very solid, thick plastic base. When I ordered this new one, I was very surprised at the thinness of the new base and when I looked at it closely, I discovered it was cracked. Amazon sent me another. That one wasn't initially cracked. That lasted about a week. Then I noticed water on the counter where it was sitting and then I spotted a hairline crack in almost exactly the same place as the first purchase. It was leaking. Since I have used the pitcher for at least a week, I'm not going to send it back, I'm not willing to see if a third one is the charm but just a warning, don't buy the six cup pitcher. I don't know if the larger ten cup pitcher is better but I don't want to take a chance.

Great water filter. Water tastes great. Removes impurities and even microplastics. The pitcher is made of plastic, so I don't store the water in there after it's filtered. The filter last for several months and water goes through it rather quickly

I dislike how tap water tastes it has that taste to it and this removes it 10/10

this is a very high quality priduct and a perfect size for me.

No support outside of USA and Canada. pitcher arrived with a crack. The parts like the cap and the handle moves a little even when fit into place. Lastly the borders of the pitcher are leaving splinters in my hand for some reason. Would recommend buying another model. Not returning it because its a hassle to, its easier to repair the crack myself, and because I can still use the elite filter

Acceptable water flow rate through the filter during fill up. Got it with the 6 months Elite filter to reduce filter change frequency. Would be perfect if the jug has a spout lid to dust cover.
