Does this stuff help?

It definitely helped me. I have scalp psoriasis for 35 years and only two products ever helped me. The other one stopped working a few years ago, I think they changed the ingredients. This one worked in the days, I couldn't believe how easily the scales just fell away

I was told there was a lot of steroids in this product; is this true???

Well, some plants and other substances found in nature can act like a corticosteroid on the body.. Corticosteroids reduce inflammation. One very well known one is Glycyrrhiza glabra - Licorice!! it is an anti-inflammatory traditionally used for stomach upset and you will see it in a lot of cosmetic skin care products, which helps to reduce sensitivity and inflammation on the skin

As far as the Bornoleum Syntheticum, it’s called 
Bing Pian in Chinese Medicine:

Literal Translation: “ice slice”
Pharmaceutical Name: Borneolum Syntheticum
Medica Category: Orifice-Opening Herbs
WHAT IS BING PIAN?:

The Chinese Herb Bing Pian comes from the crystalized resin of the Borneo (camphor) tree (Dryobalanops aromatica Gaert. F.). Traditionally, the tree would be tapped and the resin would be collected. Once it crystallized, it would be ground down into a powder for use as medicine. In modern times, almost all the borneol used commercially is created synthetically from turpentine oil and camphor.

Turpentine oil 
made from the resin of certain pine trees. Turpentine oil is included in some chest rubs, such as Vicks VapoRub. may help reduce congestion. When used on the skin, turpentine oil may cause warmth and redness that can help relieve pain in the tissue underneath.

Camphor 
Skin Lotions and creams containing camphor can be used to relieve skin irritation and itchiness and may help to improve the overall appearance of skin. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties that make it useful in healing infections

Bing Pian clears toxic heat affecting the mouth, throat, skin, and eyes to relieve pain and stop itching. As it does not irritate the mucous membranes, it can be used topically for presentations such as sore throat, swollen and painful gums, thrush/mycotic stomatitis, and redness/swollen/painful eyes (diluted in the form eye drops). Bing Pian also helps generate flesh and is useful in addressing various skin disorders that have suppurated/ulcerated.

Does this work on Rosacea?

I bought this for my scalp but I have mild rosacea in my nose/ cheeks. I applied this at night and left on all night. Next day there was an improvement in the small pimple - like bumps. Applied a second night and next morn all the pimple like bumps gone but my face looked red and felt a bit tight/ chapped- but not irritated. So, proceed w/ caution. Next time i’m going to use it like a mask and wan it off and see what happens.
