Nurse Nancy (Little Golden Book)

This book is super cute. I bought it to read to my grandkids. I loved this book when I was little and they love it now too.

I remember this book from childhood but I wish it still came with the cute little bandaids.

I got this for a friend who, like me, is a senior citizen and a retired nurse. We grew up on Little Golden Books as children in the 1950’s. I also read Little Golden Books to my kids in the 1970’s. I was surprised to see one of my favorites was still in print so I got it for my friend. One difference is the original came with an actual bandaid. But even without the bandaid it brought back sweet memories.

I loved this book and my granddaughter equally loved it! My name is Nancy and I worked in a clinic so my precious grand baby feels closer to me when she reads it. It is a wonderful “older” book that we love!

Originally it included bandaids inside. Seems expensive now for a reprinted book from 1952. I gift this book often to little ones I know! Gave this one to a 3 yo, along with a medical bag of wooden toys(BP cuff, thermometer etc).It still makes me proud to be a Registered Nurse.

Opened first page of book and appeared as though the page had gotten wet, it was wavy. The binding of the book is totally misaligned. Can't open the book fully to see and read the pages.

All the books in this order arrived in a warped condition. How sad.

My 4 year old granddaughter loved it.

I bought this book for my 4 year old daughter. It is just a lovely book. I love the old pictures. I would recommend it.

Nice story and beautiful old-time illustrations. Captured my son's imagination, wants me to read it to him "again and again"!
