Women’s Heated Vest, 4 Heating Zones Lightweight Electric Vest

These are the best heated vests on the market. We have purchased other brands and Ororo is by far the best quality. My entire family has one and I have them for myself in multiple colors. They work great alone or under my down parka when I am sitting outside for my kids sporting events. They make great gifts! I have purchased them for so many people for gifts and they absolutely love them. The batteries do a nice job holding their charge. You can get about 10 hours of use on the low heat seating and about 3 hours on the high setting. I love the high setting so I always throw an extra battery in my purse and easily swap them out if need be. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The only thing I have as a criticism is that the battery is a bit bulky on your hip but still worth it. My husband recently got a new vest and his came with a battery that is smaller than all of mine which is nice. I wish I had more of the smaller battery size. They take a while to charge but we usually just plug them in at the end of the day and unplug them in the morning. Not sure if this is recommended or not, but it works for us. The vests can be a bit pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. Also, wish they sold additional batteries at a better price point. The battery seems to be the most expensive part of the overall purchase. I also own heated socks and gloves. I highly recommend all of these items!

​I am obsessed with this vest. I have one major tip on the fit, though: don't overthink the layering aspect like I did! I usually wear a small, but I panicked and ordered a medium because I thought I’d need the extra room for laying. It turns out the medium is actually very roomy. You definitely don’t need to size up, just stick with your normal size and you’ll have plenty of layering space. It looks very stylish with a long sleeve shirt and jeans!​The quality and comfort is honestly great. It comes with a nice storage bag and the zippers are really heavy-duty, so they don't feel like they’ll snag or break. The best part is how fast it works; it heats up almost the second you turn it on. The heating panels are in the perfect spots, and having heated pockets for my hands - yes please.​The only small thing with the design is the collar. Unless I have it zipped all the way up, the fabric tends to flop down and cover the power button logo. It’s a very minor annoyance when I want to check my heat setting quickly (especially to know when it's done warming up) because I have to move the collar out of the way to see the light.I haven't tried to wash it yet because I'm nervous lol, but they include detailed instructions for doing so. I'll be brave one of these days and wash it and I'll come back here with an update.​Overall, it’s a high-quality piece of gear and totally worth it for the warmth. Just trust your usual size!

10/18/18 UPDATE:As I mentioned below, I hadn’t contacted the seller prior to posting my review. After posting my review and initiating a return, I was contacted within 24 hours by the seller to try and rectify the situation. They apologized for the outdated picture showing an incorrect location of the two front heating elements (supposed to be in the chest area, but were located in the pocket area). They explained that they had sent out almost 400 questionnaires about the vest and after analyzing the results decided to change the heating element location. They have since removed that picture from Amazon to make sure they are accurately advertising the product.My 2nd issue was the loose battery connection. They offered to replace the battery free of charge and within 24 hours had a new one shipped out and I received it within two days and the new battery works flawlessly.My wife purchased this vest for a couple of particular outdoor events we were attending and loved how warm and well it has worked. She actually is wearing the vest almost daily and has no complaints.I want to commend CSA Apparel in the quick responses and exceptional customer service. They have exceeded my expectations and I would purchase products again without hesitation and truly recommend this product 100%.ORIGINAL POST:I’m hoping that the vest I ordered for my wife is a rare instance of quality control. I’m writing this review prior to returning the product and messaging the manufacturer to ensure my review gets posted. After significant research we chose this vest because of the high review rating not only on Amazon, but also several other websites.The product arrived today (as expected) and as detailed in the instructions, I charged the battery prior to testing the vest. I plugged in the battery and handed the vest to my wife, she put it on and attempted to start the electric heat, but it did not turn on. When we checked the battery it had become unplugged from the vest when I simply handed it to my wife... It will be near impossible to keep battery plugged into the vest unless you plan to use it only while sitting or lying down. While this is irritating, I could work around the issue by using a rubber band or Velcro type strap to hold the plug in the battery.The 2nd issue with this product, which is the main reason that I’m writing this review is that the heating elements are not where they are depicted in the description and the “collar” heating element is only a single wire that is sewn into the very top of the collar. The description states that the two heating elements in the front of the product are located in the chest area. The heating elements in the product that we received are both located in the hand pocket area of the vest and greatly reduce our need/purpose for the product.This vest was purchased based on the (apparently inflated) reviews and the multiple heating elements and their locations in the vest. I’ve attached pictures showing the locations of the heating elements that were expected in the purchased product sewn into the vest for reference.

I bought as a gift, and she loves it. Where is it quite often. Keeps you surprisingly warm without being bulky. The heating zones work great, and the battery lasts a long time. Perfect for cold mornings and outdoor activities.

Have only used once so far for about 40 min. The fit is snug for me but wearable. Heat was warm and soothing. It wasnt very cold out so I only had it on lowest setting. at this point, I would recommend it. Its stylish, good quality. IDK about battery life but its easy to charge the battery and connect to vest. If you are measuring somewhat in between two sizes, I would order the larger to ensure its not too snug.

Think this is the best heated vest on the market! I love this vest it can last hours if you do the settings right. Gets pretty hot on high but battery only lasts a few hours on high. I bought everyone in my house hold one and we all love using them. I pack it as back up everywhere I go, it has a little carry bag. Not very water resistant in the rain, runs a little big, zippers are quality all round a great buy and gift for anyone who is always cold!

This is the best item I’ve ever purchased. This vest is a perfect fit and the warming zones are amazing. Battery life is great (I use it all day on low). My office is freezing and I wear this daily. The material is easy to clean. It’s very lightweight as well.

This vest is great for doing kidney dialysis because the treatment rooms are very cold.

I LOVE this vest! It actually gets too hot for me! I have not used it past the lowest setting. The battery gets me two days charge, but I don't work outside. I am 120 lbs, 5 foot 5 with a 36 B chest and I got the Medium. It fits a bit loose, but I like that because I cannot feel the battery pack. If it fit any snugger I would feel it. I also feel if it fit any snugger it would be too hot. I am glad I went with the vest as opposed to sleeves as it does make you quite warm and my armpits would sweat too much if there were sleeves. Also, with the vest I am able to wear it in Spring and Fall as well. I shovelled snow in -13 degree under a coat. I ended up taking the coat off and just wearing the vest and was comfortable. I also don't need to pre-heat my car in the mornings because the vest keeps me warm enough and sometimes I don't even need to turn on the heat in my car when I am wearing it. I love the heated neck and sometimes I put it on when I have a headache and the heated collar fixes the headache. The battery does take hours to charge though, so keep that in mind. The battery is lightweight though. I get loads of compliments on the vest, so it looks good as well. The heated pockets are also a nice touch. I thought the price was a bit expensive, but now that I have used it so much and its machine washable.... definitely well worth the price.

UPDATE: My fourth winter with this vest and original battery and it's still amazing. I can hardly believe it, four winters of hard wear!!!I work and play outside so I did a lot of research and this heated vest is the best ever. All heat is great, but the back of the neck is my favourite - way better than any scarf, it's like being warmed from the inside out. I can still wear a scarf as well to cover my face if the wind or snow is really biting. And I love how it keeps my belly AND my hands warm. Although I feel less heat in my hands in the pockets than in my belly and back and neck areas. That doesn't really matter though if it's raining or really cold because I have to wear an extra jacket over the vest anyway so I stay dry and my arms stay warm. I wear it for cycling, hiking and working outdoors all day at a nursery. I've had to lend it to co-workers and friends when they got miserably cold. Seriously this vest is a game changer. Once I've warmed up in the morning I usually only need it on low or I turn it off so I don't get too hot. I turn it on at least a few hours every day and only need to charge it three times a week. Washing it is no problem. I take out the battery pack and wash it in a mesh bag as directed. I have the old model battery which is a bit bulky, but I only feel it when I''m crouched bending forward or putting on my seatbelt and it's nothing to complain about. It's sooo worth it. This thing has changed my professional life. I often work in very cold environments, and this vest makes the difference between being miserable and being perfectly comfortable. Very handy when working indoors in underheated spaces, because it doesn't get in the way like a coat might. Outside, under a coat, I often don't even need to turn it on. But when I do, it's like getting a warm hug. I was worried the hot collar would bother me, but I almost always have something on underneath that protects my neck, so it's actually quite nice. The battery is small, but right against my hip bone, so maybe size up to keep that from being uncomfortable. I am 5'8", 140lb, not curvy, and the size M is perfect for me, both under and over other clothes. It even looks good! Many of my colleagues have ordered their own Ororo vests since seeing me wear mine. The battery does take a long time to charge, so you might want to order a second battery if you're going to have it on high for more than a few hours. My only (tiny) complaint is that the light is in a place that I find hard to see, so checking what setting I'm on can be annoying.

I bought 6 vests of this caliber for my ailing mom who is cold all of the time. Granted this is not what these were designed to be used for, I thought they may help. I’m copying and pasting the same review for each vest as the performance all seemed similar. For the cost I expected much more noticeable heat, the only noticeable spot (which was amazing) was the neck, I wish the other panels reached that level of temp as I would have kept a couple for her so she could rotate them throughout the day as the others recharge. Unfortunately we returned them all. But she is very small right now, 90lbs and under 5’, the small fit fine, a little long obviously being under 5’. All vests were made very well, packaged very nicely, designed well as she loved the fashion style, but they just did not warm up to where either of us were really sure they were on. Batteries were charged.
