In case you didn't know, the colors and patterns are stamped on the underside of the tile. The side facing your kitchen is just a plain old clear glass tile. Even the rose gold/copper and silver look are just plain glass tile with a metal pattern on the backs, so there will never be a need to polish it, and there's no tarnishing. Once the tile is mounted and grouted, the design can't be damaged. I would caution that if you have to do a lot of cutting in smaller areas, you may want to order an extra 20% of tile instead of the usual 10%. I had a hunch we might need it, and we did since the installer had to piece a lot between the cabinets and a window. I used a deep blue-grey for the grout, and the effect is stunning! Also, as I inferred earlier, the rose gold in this could equally be called copper. I have copper handles on my cabinets, and they match perfectly. This tile wasn't a frugal choice, but it seemed a shame to go to the trouble and expense of remodeling a kitchen only to cheap it out on the tile. Now I have a kitchen that gives me joy every day.
