Sony Computer Entertainment HW 1TB Gold Core - PlayStation 4

We got this special edition PS4 last night after selling our launch PS4 about a year ago. This is the Slim model, which is noticeably smaller and quieter than the original PS4, and sports the new controller model, which is a plus because the original controllers had some flaws with build quality. The other notable change is that this Slim has a 1 TB hard drive, which gives you a little more room for a larger game library. But let's face it--you want to know about the gold, right? The color looks better in person if you can believe it. It has a very good natural, not too shiny golden hue, like the actual metal. The controller also had a sweet look to it. I recommend, and not just to rappers or pimps.

Great console, continue to use it for gaming and watching movies and TV shows

Love it BUT i have a feeling its been opened prior to me getting it. there wasn't any protective packaging over the unit, and the controller was loose, while one of the inside box flaps was not folded on one side, where (imo) a factory packaged unit would be identical on both sides. To explain that, is on one end of opening the box, we have the controller and some cables. there are 2 flaps that wrap under and support parts (wires, controller, etc) and one side was wrong, while the other was correct. That and my expectations that a limited edition gold console would have....some kind of protective bag or cover or peel away plastic coating, mine didn't. the box is kind of rough too, but I chalk that up to the delivery guy, and while it was in a brown box for shipping, it was loose in the brown box, slid around, and got a bit knocked up. I was relieved when it started and there wasn't any other account on it, and for that I'm thankful, and do like having a gold edition. I can't tell if it's gold or blue, but it's great. some people say it's blue, others say it's gold... I think I'm gonna put a diamond on top and marry it.

I traded my old bigger PS4 to buy this one. It was by chance that I saw this before the release date and made up my mind to upgrade. My first impression of it is a solid block of metal. The noise upon inserting disc is louder than the original version but it becomes quieter soon after. The noise isn't loud and long enough to irritate me. It runs smoothly so far. The limited edition status of this version makes it unlikely I can get a replacement if something happens before warranty is up. People either love that it's limited in quantity or dislike that part for reasons like mine or the fact others will pre-order and then resell it for a much higher price. Solid color, pleasant to the eyes and doesn't feel like you had plastered a golden skin on it.

I love my rare golden PS4. It's an awesome piece of hardware and a nice break from the typical black model. Of course it's worrying even though I am young enough to be of the computer savvy generation the truth is i prefer cold hard cash and in person business. That's no longer an option all the time though so of course I had anxiety spending so much money for something online but I can happily say that there was never anything to worry about the beautiful system arrived in perfect time in perfect shape and has worked without flaw every day since then (well when I'm free to use it anyway). So I highly recommend anyone to do business with these gentlemen (or gentlewomen) for they will not be disappointed.

If you are in the market for upgrading your original model PS4 or if purchasing for the first time like myself, this is a wonderful time to do so. The pictures do not do the console justice. The gold color truly looks amazing. For $250 (before taxes) you get a great looking console, and a 1TB internal hard drive. While I was bummed no games came included, you can find a host of exclusives on sale and some for less than $20! The PS4 is a great console so far, and with this purchase, I now own all 8th gen systems. Don't pass up this deal, as the price will go back up to $299 and this gold model is a very limited time.

I wasn't sure if I needed the gold. It's was a bit extra, financially and physically, but I decided it's a PS4 at the end of the day and if I'm going to drop $300, an extra little bit isn't going to hurt. Best. Decision. Ever. It arrived on a Thursday and my god. It sits proudly in my games room. It subtly demands attention like the Victoria Secrets model of consoles. The UI and games are the same, but if you want a PS4, get it Gold. Every time you will look at it, a smile will form, and rightly so. The Gold isn't fully metallic/light reflecting, but it catches the eye. If you are a fan of a darker gold, this is your first choice.

El producto llego a tiempo y en forma, funcionando perfectamente, bien empaquetado y sellado de fabrica, pensé que se veria muy ostentoso pero a decir verdad se ve bastante elegante en este color, incluye auricular con microfono sencillo, como todos los PS4, solo que no se muestra en las fotos del producto. El TB de disco duro se agradece bastante, ya que espacio real tras actualizarse e instalar el SO es de aproximadamente 800gb, no me imagino como ha de quedar de reducido el espacio para juegos en las versiones de 500gb. El unico pero es que le rayaron un "4" con pluma en la caja, era de colección...

Me encanta el funcionamiento de la consola, es lo máximo, jugare horas y horas. El funcionamiento esta al 100, personalmente no tenia experiencia con consolas playstation, pero sin duda fue una buena eleccion

El diseño se ve precioso, el color se ve mucho mejor en persona, destaca por encima de los demas aparatos por su diseño elegante, es mucho mas delgado, tanto que cabe debajo de la pantalla, y la mejora en la memoria es notable, contrario a lo que se cree que se ve extraño, de verdad te da gusto verlo y ni hablar del servicio, lo pedi urgente, no me cobraron el servicio urgente y llego casi de un dia para otro, lo pedi un martes a las 11pm y me llego el jueves a las 2pm

hace mas de un ano que lo compre y esta genial, ni una falla , excelente aparato
