Review: Easy as 123 - My 2018 Honda CRV LX did not come equipped with a Sirius XM radio. I searched online for the best radio deals and found the Sirius XM Stratus 7 which I thought would be easy to install myself. I called one of the local car stereo places for advice on how to install it and they informed me that I would have to purchase additional equipment such as a FM adapter and special antenna connector. You would also have to remove the existing car stereo form the dash board which looked to be a challenge of it's own. I was dissatisfied with the extra work and parts that were needed so I called Sirius XM customer service. They suggested I try the ONYX EZR car stereo kit instead due its ease of installation. The unit was simple to install. Th only connection needed was the power supply that plugs into an available power outlet. You simply look up FM stations in your local area through the Sirius website and tune your XM radio to the FM frequency on your car radio. Its that simple and I would recommend this radio for it low cost, high quality sound and how easy it is to install.

A: We bough this unit for a vehicle that was not sirius xm ready, and this has worked perfect.  We also have the option to move the unit around (deck, camper, boat).

A: This radio is not powered, it can run off your vehicles power, home power of the power of the batteries of the boombox, the boombox comes with a power adapter for plugging in to home current.

**Q: Will this Xmas radio work in a 2000 Mercedes Benz**
A: It should work on any Radio that has an AC input

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Basic Sirius Radio - affordable and works well, but needs a direct connection to car radio

When I first installed this radio, the reception was bad even though I was getting maximum signal strength. I called up Sirius and spoke with several techs. They sent me refresh signals and had me do a couple other things; none of which resolved the problem. Finally the last tech that I spoke with suggested that the radio was defective. He advised me to return it to Amazon. Amazon has an amazing return policy; so I did. Well it turned out that there was nothing wrong with the radio at all. I found out that if you want good reception, you need a direct connection to the car or have it plugged into to an auxiliary input if your car has one. I ended up purchasing an Onyx Plus from Amazon which is awesome. I connected it directly to my car radio. The EZR version was 10.00 less; decent radio, but less features. Thanks to Amazon for helping me out. Now I have a radio with excellent reception and features.
