Cheap and it Works!
PROs 1. I purchased horse pine bed pellets from a Tractor Supply Store ( their own farm store brand) for $6 for a huge bag. I drove 40 minutes to get to that store and purchased 2 bags which will take forever for my cats to go though. Pellets much cheaper than scoopable litter. 2. Pellets do turn to sawdust when wet. It can stink if too much wet litter is on the bottom of the brown lower pan and cannot dry out easily. That is why I elevated the white hole pan above it with 5 Chef Boyardee (microwavable) containers (glued to bottom of white pan) so the brown pan can hold more sawdust between emptying and to get more air circulating between brown pan bottom and white hole pan to help dry wet pellets/saw dust out. No more smell. 3. I purchased TWO of these litter boxes. I put TWO brown pans inside each other and then put one white hole pan on top of the brown pans and set the rest of the 2nd litter pan in the garage. That way, I can shake the white hole pan into the brown pan and remove the brown pan with litter and set the white hole pan on the 2nd clean brown pan. I then take the 1st brown pan with sawdust in it to the compost pile and dump it. If it needs it I will hose it down in the backyard and let it dry and then place it under the brown pan. Rotating brown pans makes everything easier. 4. The white hole pan is dishwasher safe if used on top shelf of dishwasher. Someone put a large sticker on the bottom of the white hole pan covering the holes. It was taking me forever to scrap all the sticker off each and every little hole. I got frustrated and put the white hole pan in my dishwasher top shelf on 1 hour clean and viola - the sticker came off. 5. Sawdust is so MUCH LIGHTER than wet half clumped scoopable litter. When I carry the brown bottom pan filled with sawdust to the compost bin outside it is very very light. CONs 1) The white "HOLE" pan is too low to the bottom of the brown pan. I read where someone glued pipe ends to bottom of white hole pan but being cheap, I glued 5 empty Chef Boyardee microwave containers (face down) to the bottom of the white hole pan. 4 in each corner and one in the middle as I have a fat cat. These empty Chef Boyardee containers are high enough to allow litter to fall threw the holes and fill the brown pan below. I can also pick up the white hole pan and shake it and the sawdust sifts though the holes into the area beneath. 2) It was bit of trouble to get my old cat to use it. I had to put TWO litter pans next to each other. One with scoopable litter and one with pellets. I then put a few bits of her poo in the pellet litter along with a bit of scooapble litter wet with her urine. Then I STOPPED cleaning the scooble litter pan - GROSS. She kept stubbornly using it until the entire top was hard/crusted over. Then she did her business in one of the bedrooms so I closed ALL DOORS. FINALLY she used the pellet litter box and she has been using it every since. My cat is a digger and she gets pellets on the floor but they are easier to sweep up than litter and not tracked as easily either. I am going to cut a hole in the side of a large plastic tub and put my Arm/Hammer sift litter tray inside it to help contain the pellets as my cat really goes to town. To be fair I was going to do this if i had kept using scoopable litter also because my cat is messy. I have tried the crystal litter boxes, the litter box where urine runs through the litter and pools in bottom and you empty it (THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOST DISGUSTING litter box ever) and several other weird models that uses alternatives to scooble litter. I went though a dozen scooble litter types from SamsClub to everything on Amazon but nothing truly clumps. I tried several alternatives to scoopable litters like litter made from grain, newspapers, etc....all over hyped. Tidy Cat changed its formula awhile back and now urine does not clump but falls apart stinking up the litter box or I would never have been on the search for a different litter box. I have to thank Tidy Cat for me finding this litter sifting box and using horse bed pine pellets.

Good quality and life saver!
Honestly. Life changer. My cat had a habit of kicking his litter out. For some reason with this one. He hasnt been doing that! The clean up! Is super easy!! What usually takes a long time. Took me like 3seconds! Its not to big. Not to small its just right for my kinda chubby cat!! Lol I use crystal litter and it works great with this product. I've had no issues with it as of now. The ease in which to clean it is also a bonus im willing to take because cleaning my other one took a while. The height is good. My cat can just walk right into it instead of jumping into his old one! Good product should get it if you've been on the fence about it. This is your sign to bite the bullet and do it!!

Makes cleaning so easy. Comes with instructions for those confused.
This litter box is pretty handy. No more scooping needed. My only complaint is that it's a little on the shallow side. I'm also noticing a lot of people complaining that poop and pee clumps are getting stuck to the bottom of the sifter holes. This doesn't happen if you are using it correctly. It DOES come with instructions. The white part is meant to be kept between the 2 black ones. NOT on top. I included a photo of the instructions for those confused.

Works with equine pine pellets. No litter smell or dust.
We hate the smell of cat litter. No matter how often I scooped, it stank. Only a complete change would remedy the smell. While searching for a solution I ran across a YouTube video made by a cat breeder that explained this system. She recommended another box, but it was pretty expensive. I read the reviews here and there were several that said this box would work with the pine pellets. I was nervous because the holes are pretty close to the same size as the pellets, but the pellets ended up being slightly larger, so they don't fall through. It works. I don't smell cat. You can be in the same room as the litter box and not know it is there as long as the poop is cleaned up quickly. It's so easy to maintain, it's revolutionary. It's also cheap. Here is what you do: Buy Large puppy pads 30x28 and line the bottom pan Get the sifter pan and hot glue about 2" of foam or wood to the sides to create a larger gap underneath (keep them level so it's sturdy) Place the sifter pan on top of the lined bottom pan Fill sifter pan with pine pellets (acquired from local feed store- about $6 for 50#) How it works: Kitty pees in the pellets, some pee runs past onto the saw dust and puppy pad below where the smell is neutralized, some soaks into the pine pellets also neutralizing the smell, but causing the pellets to disintegrate. Kitty can't even smell where the pee went. You stir up the pellets and the used saw dust falls through the holes. Kitty poops, you remove poop and flush down the potty ASAP. No need to carry outside. No clay to clog pipes. Smell goes flush with the poo. Once a day you stir the saw dust down. Remove poo and flush once or twice a day. Once a week you remove the sifter (no need to remove intact pellets), fold up the puppy pad and all it's sawdust contents below, replace the used pad with a new one and put the sifter back on top. You don't need to change the pellets. Used ones pass through. You just add more as needed. You don't need much. Go to the YouTube video to see how it works. This lady has loads of cats and developed this to make her life easier. It works. This pan is awesome for this system. The only trick to it was getting the cats to use it. One of them was a self starter, no issues at all, like a fish to water. The other didn't recognize it as a litter box. I thought, a few days to catch on, but no. After a few accidents, and the second cat not catching the gist, I added a small box next to the pellet box that contained both pellets and litter. Soon both cats were using the foul mixture. It was horrible. But it did help the second cat recognize the smell of the pellets as a place to potty. Two days later, I took away the little litter box and watched holding my breath... VICTORY! Both cats have now accepted the pellet box and I couldn't be happier, unless they learn to use the toilet directly... they are babies still so it's possible. A person can dream.

The best cat litter period. So easy and fast to use.
I have done everything possible to find the perfect cat litter box that requires as little engagement as possible with changing litter and throwing out poop as oftern as possible. I noticed for the past 6 months my cat has pooped outside the liter box even when its was clean and filled. I hear it could be medical, it wasn't, I heard it could be something emotional but nothing new happened or changed, I realized that even after 3 years she didn't like the pine pellet litter I had been using since I adopted her, I thought it was more eco-friendly and safe for her and the enviroment, but is was harder to clean and I was using a standard cta litter box that was a dreaded experience to clean, first I changed the cat litter to the standard Fresh Step non-clumping, then I ordered this cat litter, the moment I purchased this one and saw how fast it takes to siffer the usable litter into an alternate pan and the ease of how it seperated the poop apart, i was sold. I timed myself and it took a total of 30 seconds to clean the litter and dicard the poop into the garbage. I change the litter compleltely every 3 days and that takes less than 2 minutes. It's so simple and fast. Now my cat no longer poops outside the box and I don't dread scooping and cleaning the litter like I used to. It was so cheap yet it solved my problem immediately.

You may wish you were using a scoop after having to handle these baskets as much as you will.
This litter box is exactly what it looks like. Three pieces of plastic, which I paid $23 for, I would say firstly itโs a bit overpriced, for what it is. The main thing I want people to realize is misleading about this box is you wonโt have to touch your filthy scooper anymore, which is great in theory, but this litter box needs to be addressed daily. I would much rather prefer a scoop than picking up the litter box every day, which spills litter on the floor around it, and then having to deal with trying to get The waste out of the box which makes a huge mess. The urine actually penetrates the main basket, so you have to clean all three baskets on a pretty regular basis. Also, my cats are 12 year-old domestic shorthair and they are pretty large and these boxes are too small for them. I figured for $23 they could maybe make a larger box that could fit an adult cat, I donโt have a Maine coon or anything like that but my cats have a hard time keeping the litter in the box or even keeping all of their business in the box. Iโm not going to return it or the to both of them as I bought two, because my cats have already used them, but hindsight, I regret the purchase. I wish I wouldโve bought a bigger litter box and stuck with using the scooper where only the handle has to touch your hands. I feel like these boxes require disposable gloves if you are as much of a clean freak as I am about getting waste on your hands.

It really works!
This cat litter box works great. It makes cleaning the litter box fast and with little mess. I have a piece of furniture that holds the litter box inside a drawer. This litter box fits perfectly. I used to dread changing the litter box, but this box makes it easy.

Much easier
Much easier and faster than scooping. I do take them out my back step to sift in case I go crazy with the sifting and spill some litter but it's not a huge problem so you could do it indoors. Quality is good, especially for the price, plastic isn't flimsy. Used litter usually comes right off when I dump it but I use my old scoop to get it off if something gets stuck. I sift every other day, takes 5 mins or less for 2 litter boxes. Size and depth are fine for my 8 lb house cat. Since there's two tubs in each litter box, it's easy to keep clean, once a week I take the filled, sifted tub back in the house for her to use, and spray off the sifter if needed (but it rarely has anything on it). For the tub, I rinse it off and if there is any litter or residue still on it, I spray Dawn Power Wash on it, let it sit a couple minutes and it usually rinses right off (I also have an old scrub brush I keep just for this purpose if I need it). This sounds complicated but it literally takes me minutes. I haven't noticed any odor on them but I also spray them down with bathroom cleaner or Clorox cleaner and let it sit for 5 minutes before I wipe that off and let it air dry. Like I said, I do this once a week so the sifter gets rinsed every week if it needs it, tubs get washed every other week since I alternate them. Again, it sounds like a lot when you write it out but it's so much easier than normal litter boxes and lets you save unused litter and still clean it often. I do dump out the litter about every month and start fresh as well.

Good product
The best if you use wood pellets for litter. Some have said they are small boxes, and they are not huge, but usable. I use this as a sifter only. My regular litter boxes are dumped into this one (after removing poop), then I shake out the dust from pee absorption and dump it back in the litter box. Quick and easy.

10 minute task is now 2 minutes
Very easy to use and makes the task of cleaning the litter box a lot faster. my only comment would be the size, it works for kittens but might be a little small for big cats.
