G Gradual Men's 7" Workout Running Shorts Quick Dry Lightweight Gym Shorts with Zip Pockets

I bought this same pair 5 years ago and just recently had one of the seams give out. They were always comfortable, easy to take care of and fit perfectly. So, I just bought another pair of these since the quality was so good and the old ones lasted so long. Very happy with the shorts and the zipper pockets are a nice feature.

Great boys shorts for the price. I purchased the small for my 15 year old thin athletic son. It fits well. I purchased more in different colors. Only complaint is that the strings are too long, but we cut them off.

Feel good. Fit is great. Took forever to get here even though it was supposed to be a next day delivery. Temu would have probably been faster.

Love the length, weight and deep pockets. Can do without the zippered pockets since I use for tennis but all in all they are comfortable and affordable.

I purchased the dark blue and light blue as my first purchase to try them out. I needed to replace some old mesh shorts that were faded and did not have pockets. Well I'm sure glad I found these and tried them out. I liked them so much I order more in dark cammo, green, maroon, and brown. The brown version I up sized to see what the difference was been the X-Large and XXL as I weigh 215 lbs. If I gain more weight, then the XXL will do fine. XXL works now, but I can tell a difference there's just more material and it's more baggy on me. The size chart is spot on. I will say I was a little disappointed in the green as it's a dull green and not a bright green. I like having pockets that zip close, but I'm not used to having a hard zipper for side pockets. I like that one can not see through them as the material is thick enough. As a bonus, the G appears to be reflective should I wear these at night. The draw string is standard and as always wants to go into the fabric during the wash cycle, whereby I have to fish it out afterwards. Ugh. If they could have somehow made a system where this never happens, it would be worth extra money. Since I'm 5ft 9.5inches, the shorts hang above my knees about an inch or two, but definitely not mid-thigh. This is how I like them. They seem sturdy enough to wear outside for running, sports, or a quick trip to the store, but I primarily lounge around in them at home. However I have put my wallet, keys, and cell phone in the pockets and with the draw string pulled tight and knotted, they held up.

I'm reviewing "G Gradual Men's 7" Workout Running Shorts Quick Dry Lightweight Gym Shorts with Zip Pockets" on 02-11-22. I've purchased 4 or 6 pairs (I don't remember at the moment) of these shorts. The shorts themselves are comfortable, fit me well, and have held up after a few months of washing numerous times, HOWEVER my biggest complaint with these is that the drawstrings mysteriously came out of all 4-6 pairs when washing, even though I got wise to the problem and tied the drawstrings in a knot when I put these in the wash. Didn't help. The knots came loose, and the drawstrings got sucked completely out of the shorts. Useless, and gone. Now, I wouldn't be writing this if not for the fact that I'm almost 40 years old, a lifelong athlete, and I've almost never had this problem with ANY other clothing I've owned (and washed to death, believe me). Bottom line, in terms of comfort and fit (and durability, other than the drawstrings) I'd give these 5 stars. But this issue with the drawstrings on ALL pairs of these shorts (4-6 total) is uncanny. So just beware.

Great quality, strong zips, just want I've been after so I can access my phone easier than I can from an SPIBelt, while not having to worry about it flying out of a pocket as I do with most other jogging shorts. I've just ordered a second set of 2 so I can keep a set in the car for jogging when out and about, and another to use for swimming.

Used for everyday casual wear and particularly like the zip closure pockets

They are nice. I now have 3 of them. Four star because some of them do corn up a bit.
