VIVEsole Budin Splint Toe Straightener (Pair) - Hammer Toe Corrector

So I didn’t get this for the same reason as everybody else. I got this because I have a bad anxiety tick or whatever you wanna call it ,where I curl my toes really bad while I’m doing stuff like if I’m concentrating on something, my toes are constantly curling, and it has absolutely destroyed the top of my toes. I can’t even wear open toed shoes without socks. Anyways, I was hoping this would help me. I have tried toe covers. I’ve tried toe separators. I’ve tried everything. This is the only thing that is comfortable enough for me to wear all the time and it stops me from curling them. I am very impressed and happy with them and I’m hoping that this will just make me break the habit where I don’t even have to have them eventually. It’s pretty comfortable, doesn’t slide right off like the covers, I have a small foot and it fits but it also has an adjustable strap thing for the toe that stretches and works well. This specific thing it works very well.

these helped my foot with a toe that has a callous blood vessel. I used them to cushion the ball of my foot and help hold my toe in place. It receives some pain but not all. I can add they wash well when forgotten in a sock. It still works will. After about 6 months of wear it needs to be replaced.

My bunion has worsened over the years and caused a hammertoe. In fact if i don't wear these correctors my large toe actually crosses under the hammertoe. Most bunion correctors spread the toes which really hurts after a while and which tends to push the hammertoe up even more. I bought several different types of bunion correctors over these past two years and this is the only type that works for both. Not ideal perhaps but pulling the hammertoe down does keep the bunion from crossing underneath. I've tried gel and sock spreaders and they all hurt after a while. The splint type of corrector is really hard to position just right so doesn't help me I find. Putting on this type of corrector has become a natural part of my routine: on before socks in the morning. I do take it off at night because the elastic over the hammertoe has to be tight enough to keep the toe pulled down and at the end of the day i can see the ridge and am concerned that it might constrict blood flow a little. But i find now that my foot is uncomfortable at night without it on and i'm looking for something a bit gentler for overnight. I suspect that i'm going to end up giving my toes a breather in the evening and then donning this corrector again for overnight. I really am more comfortable now with the corrector on than without. I wear it for a couple of days and then throw it in the washer (cold or warm). Then i air dry. I can reuse multiple times. I only throw away if i find the elastic has become loosened and, instead of keeping my toe down, it relaxes and no longer pulls down. This corrector works underneath all types of shoes. With dress sandals I make a choice: wear it and see the corrector peeping around my toes just a bit, or leave it off and see my big toe and second toe all crossed over.

No bueño! It does nothing for the big toe and the pad moves all over the place. Additionally, the strap that tightens is long and gets in the way, but one shouldn’t cut it down because then you can’t tighten the strap. Get the silicone inserts that go between the toe. It also made my toe hurt and hindered my walking. Was very disappointed.

The product is made in China which was not noted on the Amazon website. The prior product on Amazon that provided the same function was made in Costa Rica was not available when I ordered this.

They work great, even with sandals or flip flops. BUT, you have to double roll piece of tape on them to adhere to the sandal, otherwise they slide around and show. I found the tape works absolutely perfect. My toes look straight! It just looks like a little beige band-aid is on it. Hey, it definitely beats surgery!

Kind of flimsy not real secure, I did not find it useful

This product works great! The design effectively isolates my index toe so that proper alignment occurs. I am older and still want to exercise so I am grateful for the design and quality. I use these daily! They last and can be washed by hand and air dried.
