Incredible knife, 5-stars aren't enough
I don't even have enough words to praise this knife. It's beautifully balanced, has an incredibly sharp blade that handles anything you put before it (including my son's thumb - he's ok). Add to that the look - the black blade and the wood handle that sits perfectly in your hand, and it's an all-out winner. Too bad you can't give more than 5 stars because this knife deserves it.

Excellent quality, love the handle
I like a thin tall blade. I sharpened it to shaving sharp soon as I got it. Slices meat and vegetables with ease and holds a good edge. Steel is very good quality and handle is awesome.

Very good knife
Had this king for a while but didnโt use it because my job didnโt cal for it, but when I finally got to use it I was not disappointed. The design is very nice, love the black steel, wood handle combo. Itโs a little too heavy but thatโs fine with me seeing as Iโm a strong guy I can actually feel the cuts, this knife can make mostly any cut and very durable. 8/10

Knife for all purpose.
Love the knife. Is sharp and same time ceramic covered for salad cutting, meat and great size for all things. Design is great also.

Super sharp! EXCELLENT for slicing vegetables!
I purchased this knife as an upgrade/replacement for my current collection of kitchen knives that...weren't so great. I put it to the test in our kitchen a few nights ago, slicing mini cucumbers as a side for our meal of ribeye steak strips and red belle peppers over white rice. This nakiri vegetable knife passed through the cucumbers with absolutely ZERO EFFORT; it is INSANELY SHARP, nicely balanced (in reference to weight), and an overall GORGEOUS piece of steel! Quite impressive, given its price point as well!

Good Blade, Low Quality Handle Finish
The blade is just right not too thin, not too heavy. But the finish on the handle came off after few weeks, after return window was expired. This poor finish is making the handle feel very scratchy, rough, and uncomfortable. It seems the handle wasn't finished properly with only a thin stain and minimal sealing. Photo of it shows how looks like it's 10 years old even though it was brand new just over a month ago.

Pretty good affordable veggie cutter
Amazing right out the box. Balanced enough, sharp enough and light enough. I have experience working in a kitchen environment so seeing that my skills can be articulate into a budget/affordable knife is very nice to see. Overall good veggie cutting knife.

Sharp Knife
This knife was bought as a replace for an old paring knife. The handle of the old knife was loose. The Mitsumoto Sakari knife is only joined at one part - the handle. Easy to clean and very very sharp. Very happy with the purchase
