Length and width is acceptable, but could be a quarter of an inch tighter to make it perfect. The top of the foot is incredibly loose, enough to put a finger on top. This makes it awkward when walking fast, uphill, or taking the stairs. The way the upper and the sole are stitched gives the shoes a very wide ground contact. The other espadrilles I’ve owned, the upper shrinks when wet and left out to dry. I won’t be “shrinking” it because they will be returned, but I’m sure these will shrink when given the treatment. Review: Uncomfortable - These shoes may look nice but they are so uncomfortable! There's no cushion at all and after working just for a couple of minutes...your feet are hurting! I do not recommend these at all!
