Direct swap with original Zune hard drive, easy to install
I couldn't be happier with this product so far! I replaced my busted Zune 30gb HDD with this 128gb SSD and it worked perfectly and fit within the original Zune's metal casing for storage. It took a total of 20 mins to disassemble and replace. I wish I had this ability 20 years ago when I was using this thing on the daily. I can't speak to lifespan yet, as it's only been a week of use. But so far, I am very pleased with the product.

Perfect drive for Ipod Classic
I bought this drive to upgrade my old iPod Classic. I am very happy because it fits and works perfectly with no modifications or adapters required which is what I wanted. The price is right too. It costs about the same compared to buying and SD card adapter along with SD card. I noticed that it loads music faster compared to the original hard drive. I also like that I have more than double the original space which was only 30GB. Important note: If using in an iPod make sure you have the proper opening tools as disassembly can be difficult because iPod is very delicate. After that it is plug and play, when you plug it into the computer iTunes will detect that the iPod will need to be formatted. Once it restores the software it will work normal.

Good for my uses
I haven't benchmarked it or anything since I doubt I could give accurate results in the crappy UMPC I installed it in, but here's my experience with it after one day: I installed it in my HTC Shift, restored an image of windows 8 to it, and now my shift is running 100x faster. That old stock HDD was really a terrible, terrible bottleneck (and only ~32GB!). I'll update my review if this SSD fails on me any time soon. All I wanted out of this was for it to be a bit faster than the stock HDD (it's a lot faster!), no moving parts, and more space. I am very satisfied thus far. A note for HTC Shift owners, Windows 8 uses significantly less RAM than 7. If you're looking to increase performance on the shift, buying that overpriced 2GB RAM module is COMPLETELY unnecessary. I have 8 Pro running on it, and with the stock 1GB of ram, only 50% is in use after boot, and I've never seen it go higher than 70%. If you put 8 on it (and honestly, you should because 8 runs faster than 7, is more touch friendly, lighter on RAM and CPU usage, better in just about every way, etc), adding another GB of RAM is not going to increase your performance at all. It will literally do NOTHING. You're constrained by the 800MHz processor and the slow HDD- even with this SSD, anything that might possibly use the extra GB of RAM is going to run like s*** with or without it. Better to just rely on the SSD and pagefile.

Forget it - cannot accommodate ZIF cable
I bought one of these to upgrade the Hitachi HDD in my iRiver H10 ... an old music player, long in the tooth, but great with Rockbox and an bump-up on the stock 20GB. The first issue I ran across was that the ZIF cable already in the iRiver would not fit into this device. It simply would not go in. ZIF is supposed to mean Zero Insertion Force, but after pressing and pressing, it would not go in the Kingspec. I bought some replacement ZIF 40 pin cables, brand new, and just as slim as the cable already in the iRiver. No go. After all of this finegeling with cables and such, I broke off part of the plastic tab at the front of the ZIF port on the drive. (see photo with the exposed pins) I may have bricked it, unless I can figure out a way to repair. But given the troubles I've had trying to slide a simple little ZIF cable into this drive, I have to conclude this is NOT a ZIF drive.

Great Replacement.
I got this to upgrade my 1st Gen Zune. Fits perfectly and with a smaller profile than the original HDD.

IPod 5th gen compatibility hard drive.
Awesome product. Had a 5th gen iPod video give me several years of good music times till the hard drive gave out. Broken and waiting till the day I finally decided to throw it out, I have it a go to just buy the hard drive. A risk not knowing if it'll work. Let me say this product works as it says. Not sure if it's for heavy server use or computer use but it works fantastic on my iPod. Transfers song lightning fast compared to the original hard drive. Plus it jumped from being a 30 gig to a 118 gig... Once you format it to iPod os it'll take away a few gigs. Best first product purchase I've made. Definitely recommend if you uploading your classic iPods or hard drive replacements. It meets the specs of 3.3v.

A parte he puesto otro GB extra (3GB en total) y Windows 8.1 Update 1 64 bits.
