It came in 1 day and it's really too nice for shoe polishing. It makes the perfect horse head grooming brush as it's soft and forgiving. My horse loves it for gentle brushing around the eyes. It's a great product and yes will work great for shoe polishing, but the horse has claimed it!

Recommended by my vet to brush my Yorkie. I was unable to find one locally so Amazon it was. Others were not 100% horse hair like this one. This is perfect! Thank you!

What a great horsehair brush! I just ordered a shoe care kit from this brand (Stone & Clark) for my husband so he can easily maintain his collection of RedWings. I was very impressed with the quality so when I saw this premium brush, I ordered it, too. I chose the black version. The brush is very well made. The beech wood handle/grip is smoothly finished and the brush is large enough to fit easily in the hand and make quick work of cleaning and polishing shoes and boots. There is an indentation along each long side of the handle to make gripping the brush comfortable. The black horsehair bristles are long and very soft and plush. There are many full tufts of horsehair -- more than 150 of them and they are firmly anchored into the wood handle. There were no loose bristles and no shedding when my husband used this brush for the first time. It polishes the leather with no scratching. The brush arrives in a nice gift box that can be used for storage -- it is black, as well and is an outer shell with a pull-out drawer containing the brush. I had no idea how versatile this brush might be until I read the other reviews. One of the reviewers has a Yorkie and uses this brush for his coat. I thought that was wonderful! We have a French bulldog puppy and his coat is very thin. Those slicker brushes aren't comfortable for him and I planned to get a boar bristle brush. In the meantime, thought I would try this very soft brush on him and he loves it! So now I just have to make sure it is put away properly so he won't chew it up! And I have to order another brush for my husband's boots! The current price o $14.99 seems very reasonable for this well-designed, quality horsehair brush.

So, I did not get this for it's intended use. I do have a nice horse hair brush for my shoes, but I got this specifically to brush my clothes from dust in the closet. Over the pandemic, and currently in it, I did not wear my suits nor nice shirts anywhere, and they began to collect dust overtime. Many years ago while purchasing suits from a tailor I saw the store employees using horse hair brushes to brush the top of suits to keep them in tip top shape. So, that it is what I did. Brush comes in a nice sleeved box, and the wooden handle is nice and smooth easy to hold and feels solid in the hand. No bristles fell out or are falling out while I brush my suits to cleanliness. Extremely soft bristles, soft to the touch and again easy to hold and use.

You want a brush like this (horse hair) because the bristles are super soft, and this will keep your top nice and clean. Great for brushing any debris off, without having to wash the top. Don't settle for a less quality brush...this one is worth every penny at this price. Highly recommended for not only the soft top of a convertible, but the leather interior as well. Just get it.

The packaging was nice. The brush has a nice looking black pull out storage box. The brush feels high quality and the bristles are soft. I purchase this for my black leather boots. The brush was also larger than expected, which was a plus. I recommend.

The bristles are extremely soft but thats about the only thing good about it. Immediately upon use, a significant amount of bristles began falling out and created more of a mess than it cleaned. At first I thought it was just a factory thing and kept on using it (expecting all the extra hairs to fall out) but it was nonstop. I brushed the leather very gently too.
