Seals pretty good, out of 45 lbs of meat was able to seal about 12 lbs at a time before having to let it cool off. Very easy to use and figure out. The bags that came with it are really good and durable.

Sometimes, good things do happen! Two days ago, I was standing in front of a huge bowl of mixed vegetables that I blanched, when one after the other, like a kitchen horror movie where no one dies, both of my food savers broke! I was so mad, I'm sure everyone could hear my scream from Boca Raton to Mara Lago! One was so old it weighed a ton! The other was all plastic. By 7 p.m. I was done; I was ready to toss out the whole project but got online for one more chance at saving the veggies by buying and one more food saver machine. In the middle of the higher priced items, I found this gem! I struck food saver gold! It arrived in a big heavy box, stuffed full of free different size bags and a very heavy super EZ to use machine that sucks so strongly, in sec., I could seal up anything, in seconds! My other two machines were finicky about vacuuming out the air if the plastic bag got wet one bit, not this bad boy! For the price I was expecting to strike out, to prove to myself that I should just give up on the whole idea of helping my two loves of my life, lose weight by adding in vegetables into their daily meal plans, which they hate anyway. Dogs, they know when mom is mad! Well, mom is very happy today since I went on a tear and sealed many things, all for them, from chicken to fish and even the 11 sweet potatoes I bought for $2. New to food saving, this is the best deal, on the planet! I swore I would never ever, do any of this, so I know exactly what a few of you are thinking. By me, farmers markets mark everything down right before closing and on Sunday nights, for the dollar table out front. Most of it is bruised but damaged in any way. This is where you can find an amazing assortment of things, I highly recommend it. Btw, this item is not too large, it is smaller than my other two and fits nicely anywhere.

I’ve been using it for meal prep and it definitely helps keep food fresher longer. The built-in cutter is a nice touch and makes customizing bags simple. Seal quality is good overall, but I did notice that sometimes the vacuum could be a little tighter, especially with softer or moist foods—you may need to run it twice for the best result. For the price, it’s a solid value and a great option if you want something simple and effective.

I was really not expecting much at this price but Wow, It worked like a Charm. Sealed up my tri-tip perfectly. The Guides are a good idea but if you keep the opening of the bag centered in the vacuum area you will have no issues. The Seal guard is anther great idea to keep vacuum surround seal fresh and not deform. They should offer back up Brown Sealer Tape for the heating element. Great Price and it is Made Pretty Well.

I’ve had this vacuum sealer a little over a week and I’m genuinely happy with it. I bought it to help me organize my food better, cut down on freezer clutter, and reduce food waste, and it’s already doing exactly that. I’ve used it to reorganize both of my freezers and the difference is immediate. Vacuum sealing saves a ton of space compared to bulky containers and random half open packaging, and everything looks cleaner and more organized. It also makes it easier to portion things out, so I’m not defrosting more than I need, which is a big part of why I wanted it in the first place. Performance wise, it functions really well. It seals quickly and the process is simple once you get the hang of it. I did have one issue the very first time I used it where it didn’t seal properly, and I was nervous because I had seen reviews mentioning that. Turns out it was user error. You have to lock it down until you hear the click on both sides. Once I started doing that, no more sealing issues at all. The only small downside is the bags it comes with feel a little thin. It’s not a dealbreaker, and for the price I paid it’s honestly not a big complaint, but I personally prefer thicker bags, so I ordered a heavier duty set. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s quick, works well, saves freezer space, and it’s going to help me waste less food. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re trying to get organized with meal prep or freezer storage.

This works OK, but I wouldn't want anyone to get the impression that this device (or any other similar inexpensive vacuum sealer, I suppose) can do the job that can be done with, say, an Avid Armor Chamber Vacuum Sealer. For one thing, the vacuum that can be pulled with the Avid Armor (or similar "professional" model) is WAY, WAY stronger than what this vacuum sealer can do. For another, the bags are of a much lighter gauge, with much less strength/durability. The result if that you won't get the kind of elimination of oxygen that will truly extend the life of your food, and the tight seal that will completely eliminate freezer frost and freezer burn. By comparison, it is kinda a toy. (I'd use this for things that I would use a zip lock bag for, not serious food preservation.) If this is what you can afford, it might be helpful in sealing things up, but as an aid in meaningful preservation, I think it is being oversold.

Perfect! It was gifted to me and I bought two and also gifted them. It’s easy to use, does the job and maintains the freshness of the food. My friend who received one is in love. She does backyard gardening and it’s quite useful as she utilizes it to zeal and store her foods and veggies.

Man muss erstmal ein bisschen rum probieren. Die ersten Versuche sind in die Hose gegangen, jetzt habe ich den Dreh raus. Wichtig ist das die Feuchtigkeit der Zutaten. Bei zuviel Feuchtigkeit bei der "Dry" Einstellung saugt es Dir die Flüssigkeit raus und versiegelt nicht richtig. Ich benutze es zum Gemüse frisch halten, Fleisch marinieren oder zum einfrieren. Ein gutes Produkt, kann ich empfehlen wenn man etwas Geduld hat. Viele Grüße euer Henri.
