MONDAY Zero Alcohol Mezcal – An Award Winning Non-Alcoholic Spirit with Zero Carbs, No Sugar, 0 Calories - 750ml

I just received this and wasn’t sure what to expect from the mixed reviews it has. I love Mezcal and it’s smoky earthiness it gives to cocktails. One simple mixer for me is Mezcal with ginger-ale or lemon/lime soda. I’m really not supposed to drink alcohol now so I’m trying to find alternatives to making some of my favorite drinks/cocktails. This does not disappoint in the desire for the Mezcal flavor … very smoky with the spicy bite one would expect from a good Mezcal. If you like Mezcal and in need of not having or wanting the “side effects” of alcohol, I wouldn’t hesitate to give this a try.

I had high hopes for non alcoholic tequila. I ordered 2 types. This one has no flavor other than plastic . I can not find the words to adequately describe this. I didn't expect it to taste just like tequila, but I did expect it to be okay enough to consume. It is not. The other one is at least pleasant smelling and can be mixed. I will not waste my money again. As this can't be returned or refunded, it is not worth the risk. Even if it is somehow a bad batch, it's not worth the risk. Money flushed down the toilet in my experience.

Delicious, adds a lovely spicy and flavorful addition to mocktails. My wife makes NA Oaxacan Old Fashioneds with this and they are amazing. Highly recommend. Pro tip: keep it in the fridge, keep ann orange on hand, and make large ice cubes. It’s quite the beverage experience.

As someone who is newly sober (5months) and loves tequila and mezcal... I really wanted to like this. I like the idea of it and it does have a smokiness to it that is somewhat tasty.. it's very watery and doesn't have much substance/flavor to it aside from the smoke. Of course it's not going to taste like the real thing, but for this price point..it should taste like something. It's worth a try, but I probably would not purchase again unless the price drops considerably. If you're a drinker and just looking to try something new..I'd just buy the real thing.

The mouth feel and flavor are very good. The burn was surprisingly strong, but that helps to give you the cocktail experience. It's too strong for me to drink straight, but great mixed especially with margarita mix or tonic.

Words are almost incapable of describing how disappointing this product is. There's nary a true word in the descriptions other than that it is a liquid and has no alcohol. It tastes like water and some smokey additive (agave, really?) infused with a bit of pepper. If you drink mezcal, you will know, before it even touches your lips, that this is not something you need to drink. The watery consistency is off putting as it enters your palette. The lack of initial bite, or any of the floral or botanical flavors of a mezcal, make this just an unpleasant experience. I was really looking forward to finding a viable, non-alcoholic, mezcal alternative, but this isn't it. Saying it is a good base for a mixed drink is also misguided. Adding a bunch of sugary mixers for flavor defeats the purpose. You don't need a $40 liquor substitute to make a flavorful mocktail if you're looking for that.

This was not even close to mescal. I am almost certain it is water mixed with liquid smoke. As a mixer it is not horrible, but I was disappointed.

I’ve found myself drinking alcohol less but I still enjoy the ritual of making cocktails and enjoying a “drink”. I made a Mezcalrita and love it. There is a smokey and heat essence to the Mezcal that is unique - it tastes like the real thing! I also love having this cocktail knowing that the mezcal is free of carbs, sugars, and calories.

Lo probé sólo y en un cocktail con Jamaica y parece un fraude
