Works the first time you set it up, then the app glitches and won't connect. Total waste of money.

It disconnected itself after 3 days kind of defeats the purpose of being able to find your dog Incase they get lost._____________________________________I bought this product because I needed a tracker for my puppy incase she ever gets lost.I think this is a great product for the quantity and price. I know I'll put one on my keys but it'll be nice to have 5 more spares. The device is nice and slim and pretty light weight. I only see three downfalls to the product, If I had the opportunity to help redesign this I would include a silicone cover to go over it. It's kind of noisy on with my dogs tags on her collar. I think a silicone cover would help cancel out the noise as well as provide another waterproof barrier. The other downfall would be when I first tried out the app it showed on the map through the app that my dog was at my neighbor's house and the tag hadn't moved. I tried it a few times after that and it showed that it was at the correct location. The last downfall was the directions were so small you might need a magnifying glass if you don't have good eyes. It wasn't accurate with the app with how to set up the device but I figured it out. It said connect or press " " button but nothing in the middle to show what button.The set up was really simplistic. 1st you download the app. 2nd take the plastic battery saver out. 3rd you press the button on the center of the device. 4th you press the 🔍 [magnifying glass] on the top right corner of the screen. 5th press the [connect] button. After all those steps it's ready to use.I don't intend using this as a selfie click but that's a cool feature.The picture of the map included on this review doesn't show the street that I live on to protect my privacy, but within the app it'll show you the exact street and house number where the device is located. The video is to show you how to activate the device. Lastly the picture collage is the paper instructions on how to set up the device.

They are worth the money.

They arrived with two batteries about 3/4 full, two less than 1/2 full and the other four were dead. So now I have to make a trip to the store and have the expense of buying batteries for all of them. Not the quality I expect from Amazon.

What's the point of even sending these out if they don't work?? The batteries were already drained, even when I replaced the batteries they still didn't work as they should even when testing them out, you guys shouldn't sell junk just to make money off of people.. make your products the way you say they are and how they should work.. I wouldn't pay $1 for these, they are trash and a waste of time to setup plus money..

The media could not be loaded. So far, not a bad product. They're loud enough for me to hear from across the yard. And the location seems accurate. I won't really know until I lose something and need to track it:) but they seem to work fine. Ultimately, for the price paid they're a good buy. Even if you just use them for finding things around the house I'd recommend them. I haven't tested the extent of the battery but the batteries are cheap for it so even if they die I'm sure it won't be a hassle.
