Perfect for travel and hotel accommodations. I bought this mini pancake maker for traveling to bike races, and I need to eat pancakes before I race. It's the perfect size, heats up the bottom and top plates (inside) very quickly, and makes perfect pancakes! I even toasted my english muffin in it with no problem. It is also easy to clean and pack. 10 out of 10.

It’s very small, like a grapefruit almost. Easy to operate, just plug it in, no dials or buttons. It’s easy to clean, just wipe it down once it cools. It does get very hot on the top and sides during operation, so be careful using it. The first night I made a fried egg, I would have made more, but I only had one egg. It didn’t take long at all, and bam, a fried egg! Then I got crazy and made a tiny quesadilla with tortillas (I cut them to size) and shredded cheese and chicken. Very delicious, with toasty crispy tortillas and melted cheese. I think it will be fun to make single servings, but if you’re cooking for more than one or two people maybe get a big griddle or use a pan. It’s so freaking cute and tiny though, I love it. I’m going to try mini pizzas and mini grilled cheese, and maybe mini homemade tortillas :P Get yourself a soft heat resistant spatula or something for manipulating whatever you’re cooking. Like if you want to flip your egg or slide it off onto a plate. Update, tiny grilled cheese was a success Update times two, it didn’t do so well on the brown and serve turkey sausage patties, but it is amazing at eggs. If you whisk your egg first then and pour it in to cook it makes kind of an egg pancake, which works very well in breakfast sandwiches. Very easy to wipe clean.

I love this cute little pancake maker! I only have myself to cook for and this makes the perfect size. Pancakes cook evenly, and quickly. It is non-stick but I do use a quick spray of cooking spray and it works for over a dozen pancakes. It’s so much easier than dragging out a pan and working on the stovetop.

Okay, so I originally got this for making fried eggs because the breakfast sandwich maker I was using before died and it honestly seemed a waste to get another one when I only ever used it just for the middle egg ring. At first glance this seemed like it would be a perfect substitute and I really liked that it was smaller and sleeker, more streamlined than what I was using before. With the way it is shaped I was kind of expecting there to be more room between the top and bottom plates though. This is perfect as is for frying eggs if you're breaking the yolk to use in a sandwich, but for sunny side up the top plate was touching the yolk and pulling off the top part of it until I found that my little flat sided cookie spatula was the perfect height to stand on its side and prop the cover part open just enough for the yolk to clear the top plate. It's also perfect for melting cheese on top of a sandwich fried egg or piece of ham. It does work and now that I've got the spatula trick figured out it's performing perfectly for my needs, but I do personally think the top plate is a bit too close to the bottom one for it to be truly versatile as is. Still, for the low price, compact size, and simplicity of something that just plain works without a lot of fuss I would absolutely buy this again.

It's not as important for the waffle maker, but the griddle needs to have removable plates. If you use it to make fried eggs, it becomes increasingly harder to clean, particularly around the edges and at the point where the metal bends. You're not supposed to submerge it because of the interior wiring, so the instructions say to wipe it with a soft wet cloth, which is not very effective. You can buy a different version of the griddle with removable plates, but that one forces you to also buy multiple other plates, which defeats the point of having something so small for easy storage. It would be better if there was an option with only those two removable plates, so you can just take them off, wash them by hand and then put them back on. It also needs a better way to store the cable. The base has a little area to wrap the cable around, but if you wrap the cable all the way around it, the plug ends up underneath the griddle, keeping it from sitting straight. If you leave it unwrapped enough so that it will sit flat, you have several inches of cable still hanging loose. There's also no way to secure it when you wrap it, unless you opt for having the griddle sitting crooked on top of the plug, so the cable just comes unwound anyway. If you pick it up while cleaning the counters, the cable just falls completely loose. The small size is convenient if you have limited counter space and are living by yourself. It cooks fried eggs through in about a minute, and it doesn't take long to preheat. I've also used it to toast English muffins and bagels, albeit half at a time. It can be frustrating to deal with because of the cord and cleaning issues, though. You may want to invest in some hook and loop cable ties or keep the twisty ties handy for the cord. Also be prepared to not be able to clean it completely, unless you want to scrape the edges with a toothpick.

Ya tenía la que hace waffles y pensé en esta opción para hacer cosas súper rápidas como huevos o quesadillas. La he estado probando con más cosas como tortitas de papás o atún. Es buenísima. Se calienta súper pronto, no se pega nada. Es genial. Me gusta mucho y me ayuda bastante para agilizar el día a día y mantener la comida estética. La recomiendo.

This is a handy little cooker! I made a fried egg to put on an English muffin first, very quick and easy. I'm not sure if this will hold two eggs, that might overflow it especially if they are large or extra large eggs. After that I tried a modified version of the potato pancake recipe that came in the recipe book provided. My recipe became: One medium russet potato, shredded. One small onion, diced. One egg. A spoonful of bread crumbs (I'm out of flour), salt, pepper, chili powder. Mixed it all up and cooked it on this. Worked great! Well browned on both sides, cooked in just a few minutes. The non-stick coating is non-stick - I only wipe it with oil when I clean it. I also confirmed it only uses 350 watts. So it would be possible to run this on a battery box (jackery or ecoflow for example), or even on a power inverter in a car or RV. It does get fairly hot though, so you'll probably want to run it on something that won't easily burn -- like a counter or tray.
