Good stuff.
I bought some different kinds of this for back packing and used it with Peak powered milk. It was a good filling breakfast. Good taste on all the different flavors. Dense food with high calories and really sticks with you. I ate about a 1/2 cup for breakfast each morning, but after checking my total calories I think a cup would be about right. It could be eaten straight from the bag with lots of chewing.

Not Low Glycemic
The picture states that it is low glycemic, the package that arrived does not and in fact appears to be very high in natural and added sugars.

Disappointing
NOT what I was expecting. Rather like ground nuts, but not as flavorful.

Great hot or cold.
I was originally introduced to tsampa while traveling in Nepal, and this is a fantastic advancement from what would be considered "traditional" tsampa. (I doubt coconuts grew in ancient Tibet). That being said, this is one of the better nutritious breakfast foods I have tried, and I will repurchase it. Served with nonfat milk or almond milk is better than preparing it warm, but both are good. The only thing keeping this product from getting a solid "5 star" rating is the size of the package, and the cost per serving.

Great Himalaya Foods - best cereal ever?
Honestly...I live this stuff. Was introduced by a friend and I have some now almost daily. As an athlete AND someone with Type 1 Diabetes...This cereal allows me to have confidence with my glucose control while also ensuring I do not have huge glycemic excursions after eating it. Great warm OR cold!

Sustained energy
I like the energy it gives me. It’s even better than oatmeal. I add wheat germ and fresh fruit to it for added nutrition and flavor, and then use milk to eat it warm.

Overall it's not bad and I think it will be more filling than ...
I bought this at Costco yesterday. I hike a lot and am always looking for lightweight foods that can be prepared with water to eat during backpacking trips. I prepared it for the first time this morning with warm milk (I didn't realize how filling it was so I used 2/3 cups cereal with 2/3 cups milk which was too much in my opinion). I also added fresh strawberries and a little honey. I will probably be adding SOMETHING to this cereal every time I eat it because by itself it is a little weird, the flavor is okay, it's just the texture that kind of gets me. Overall it's not bad and I think it will be more filling than the instant oatmeal I usually bring backpacking with me!
