Overall good quality
The external casing is well constructed however the internals leave some to be desired. You must use a low heat solder iron (< 525 degrees) along with a low heat resin solder so as not to overheat the nickel casing and melt the plastic core surrounding the center line feed. Also, soldering flux is a must with this product as the nickel coating prevents solder from properly adhering and you will get cold solder joints. On a positive note these have a short body which is ideal for cramped spaces where most traditional longer body casing would not accommodate.

Nice quality
Haven't used these yet (which is why I only ranked them 4 stars) - bought them to replenish my parts supply. But they look like quality plugs: have some weight to them and appear durable. As mentioned before, gotta be careful for a good solder contact due to the nickel plating, but otherwise I don't foresee any problem with these. At the price, it makes sense to have some of these laying around.

Good quality for the price.
Nice fit and finish but use caution soldering - the insulation material has a very low melting point.

I Wish I Could Give Them Zero Stars
These plugs require soldering and the insulator disk isn't made of Teflon, or Bakelite or even Nylon. Those materials might raise the cost of manufacture a half a cent per plug, and the frugal Chinese couldn't tolerate that. Instead they made the disk out of polyethylene, guaranteeing that any attempt to solder a cable to the plugs would result in the insulator disk melting, rendering the plugs worthless. Parenthetically, I'm a radio amateur and a retired aerospace engineer, and have been soldering RCA connectors for over 50 years, and from that perspective I assure you that these plugs are junk.

Pretty good plugs
They worked well, make sure you use low heat. Like someone else mentioned, the plastic will melt very quickly.

Just what I needed....
The price was great, the product was great, and the service was great! What more can I say? I found this to be a very verky good quality product and it was very usefull in helping me to hook up the speakers to my analog stereo system. No distortions!! I'm very satisfied.
