When I got my kitten she was so tiny & I didn't want to leave her alone to go to work. This little stuffed kitten has a purr & a heart beat and it really seems to pacify her. The material is very soft, the stuffing also. It isn't over stuffed & hard like another brand I had looked at. It's adorable, there is no smell, the purr & heart beats for more than 8 hours sometimes. I turn it on when I leave & it's still on when I get home. It looks pretty durable, the heart that holds the batteries is removable, so I would toss it in the laundry if needed. It would make a great gift for a new pet owner!! Thank you!!

My 12-week rescue kitten (unsocialized) likes this toy. I have it in his crate to keep him company and while it's no substitute for his littermates, it has helped! When I change his litter, I pop the purr on & he settles in... now he's becoming accustomed to me & he seems to like the purr. It has a rise and fall in volume that seems natural, then repeats... my older cat liked it right away. BUT beware- the purr is overall very loud! It's not the calm cuddle purr I'd envisioned, but a jarring starting volume that calms towards the end. It takes getting used to. Still 5 stars for the affordability, availability, and cuteness!

The sound quality is a little lacking and the looping isn't perfect, but it is recognizable as a purr. The toy is cute.

The cats are either afraid of, or just plain dislike it. I can tell that the sound is a recording of an actual cat, as I can hear that whomever recorded the loop got too close with the mic at one point and I can hear some breathing. It's too loud to be convincing to my animals and they are either irritated or offended by it. They do not want to be around it. The toy is very soft to the touch, but it's also very flat. The voice box is a giant, hard lump. And the toy is rather heavy. I'm not sure what cats are fooled by this thing. I would say, if your pet's are fooled by sounds they hear on TV, or on a radio or your phone, they may like this toy or react to this toy. However, if your cats are too smart to be fooled by artificial sounds, they will probably be irritated by this noisy, toy. I tried the toy with 5 different cats between two different households and none of them wanted anything to do with it. I was hoping the toy would be soothing to a momma cat who's kittens are grown, yet almost every night she cries, carrying other toys around the house in her mouth. Durring one of these crying festivals, I introduced this toy and she looked at me like I was offending her and wanted nothing to do with it. I've left it out for weeks and occasionally turned it on, but the cats either avoid it or run from it. So there ya go. Good idea, well made, but no joy from any cats I introduced it to.

LOVE, LOVE this! This helped my baby so much! I raised a bottle baby and it soothed her and she still snuggles it every night and while we travel back and forth to work. I work at an animal shelter as a foster coordinator, and wanted to put this on our wishlist, but it is unavailable, which bums me out!!! Thank you for an excellent product!

I suppose not so surprisingly it did not come with batteries and you have to get a special little teeny tiny microscopic screwdriver to open the battery compartment. It supposedly comes with a buckwheat insert that one heats in the microwave, however there seems to be very serious cautions that the buckwheat insert can burst into flames in the microwave but I don't need to worry about that because it didn't come with the buckwheat insert at all. So this is not as it's shown in the ad it's not what I thought it would be. I'm a pretty savvy Amazon shopper so this was not worth the money. It did not come with the one of the inserts it was supposed to and I have no way to put batteries in it at the moment until I purchase the correct tool. 😔

Taking care of a sick 3 week old kitten, I cant provide literwlly everything, including purring of a mother, however I came across this and he LOVES it. It works as needed. Its soft and sounds like a cats purr. I wish the purr sound lasted longer but other than that its perfect for its use I bought it for.

My 11-week-old kitten loves her sleepy kitty. The first time I brought it out, I put it next to her on the couch and as soon as it started purring, she immediately started making biscuits. She is definitely having fun wrestling with it. She will pounce on the kitty and roll around just like with a litter mate, and as a single cat household, I’m glad to see her get to play that way (it’s slightly smaller than she is now). The purr is a good volume loud enough that she can hear across the room, but not so loud that it interferes with the TV or conversation. I wish the purring lasted for longer than two minutes for when she’s snuggling with it, but when she is roughhousing, she often will activate it on her own through play. A little bit of fuzz has come off, but I think with a fabric texture like this, it was probably just loose, not anything that she pulled off. Came with a battery, just had to pull the plastic tab out. Love that the purr sound box is removable for easy cleaning!

My dog absolutely loved this toy but was trying to eat all the fluffys off of it. She loved the texture of the toy and the ease of carryng it around. She didn't seem to have a preference on if we heated it up -- but still, given how much she loved the toy I think this is a good buy. Unfort we did have to throw it out within two weeks as she was really trying to eat it.. but that's what our dog is like... (shes 1.5) I would still highly recommend as we bought another for her 12 year old cousin and she doesnt eat it but enjoys carrying it around (without the bean bag) as its light weight and well balanced due to size/shape.

Miren, el peluche es muy bonito, en efecto se apachurra, prende unos dos minutos y se apaga solo. Lo compré para ver si animaba a una de mis gatitas que andaba enferma pero lo odiaron todos los gatos, se encuentran muy indignados que esa cosa plana y morada ronroneé sin ser un gato y le pegan y le huyen. Me imagino que como son gatos adultos no sienten ese confort con ronroneo artificial, quizá para gatitos funcione bien. No lo califico mal porque el peluche está bonito y se ve resistente, no es su culpa que mis gatos sean payasos.

Love the plush pillow, both cats enjoy snoozing on it. They're not impressed with the snoring feature, but it is easily turned off or removed. Great.

My cat loves to snuggle up with this toy, good quality and delivered quickly.

I am going to call this fluffy purring blob with a face Clive. Initially Clive scared the hell out of my cat when we pressed the purr button but he soon got used to it and decided Clive was a new fun toy that he could catch, bite and kick at his leisure. He thoroughly enjoyed carrying Clive around in his mouth, plopping him down on the floor before preceding to kill Clive as well as he could. Clive is his new favourite toy and if I pick Clive up and stroke him, it makes my cat really jealous and immediately want attention 🤣 update: months later Clive has become my cats best friend. He sleeps with him every night and Clive is a great deterrent from feet nibbling which my cat is partial to at 3 in the morning. This purchase was 100% worth every penny, I would highly recommend. update Sept 2021: I have since bought 4 of these little guys and both my cats use them. I have not been able to find anything better. I used it with my little one to settle him in and he loved needing it. The purring works instantly to settle him down and help him get to sleep. I tried the toys with the heart beats but it was no where near as good as the purring toy and the way the purring toy is made helps the cats cuddle it etc. my only problem is that it is really hit and miss if you get a toy where the purring works and lasts two minutes. out of the 4 I bought, only 2 worked properly when they arrived, with the other 2 switching off after only 5 seconds. It's a shame because when these products work they are amazing and I can't find anything else like them anywhere
