Balsa Wood HO scale Model Construction
This item works well as framing for the internal structure of HO scale model houses and buildings. It also works well with making steps and risers for ares of landscaping.

Pretty good
These are pretty okay. They cut well, there are a lot of them, not really much to be upset about. For the price, its pretty much the best deal you can get. Best used for small crafts, like dnd furniture or doll-house like crafts. 4/5 stars

Perfect for the little details
Lower rating for sturdiness just because it is balsa wood which is not the sturdiest of materials. I make model railroad and RPG terrain and this selection of balsa is great for the finishing details on my projects.

Good quality, accurate cuts
I was a little leery about this having read some of the 1 star reviews. Fortunately, I went ahead and ordered it as the most cost effective solution for a model I'm building. The negative reviews seem to be from folks that haven't used balsa wood before. It's SUPPOSED to be soft and it's not intended for use where strength is required. If you try to cut it with most hobby knives, it will crush. Best to cut it with a single-edge razor blade using a sawing motion, or a very fine toothed Xacto-type saw. Then it's fine. I'm very happy with this purchase.
