Laxatone, Maple Hairball Gel for Cats, 4.25 oz

My cats love the taste and rush to me after breakfast for it like it’s a delicious treat. Rarely if ever get hairballs and my girl is very fluffy and sheds.

This product really helps my kitty clear hairballs from her system. This was our last attempt to clear a blockage before resorting to surgery, and it worked! She even likes the taste, so it's easy to administer.

Helps reduce the amount of hairballs your cat produces. While it can’t eliminate the problem, hairballs emerge less frequently and are released cleaner without much food residue meaning less of a stubborn mess to clean in carpet or floor. Recommended.

After having to endlessly "fool" this tortoiseshell cat of mine when medicine -- or ANYTHING good for her health -- is involved, this is a HUGE relief. I was really teetering as to which flavor to buy, but finally some gut instinct said "Maple." It's absurd, right? But she goes for this stuff as intensely, if not more so, than Churu. She's got some sort of restriction in her old-gal gut (she's a small cat anyway) and even worse, is grooming addicted without being compulsive, so it seems that her body cannot handle the amount of hair. It was causing her issues with eating, and very dry turds, but once I got her established on the Maple Laxatone, she easily passes her #2, and can also upchuck her hair collection with ease. It has helped her get back on track with eating enough as well. I am so grateful for this concoction, honestly. With both of our cats, we had to boop their noses to get them to even try the stuff (I put a light skim at first on a small spatula) but once they had to put their tongues on this magic elixir, it was like they were plugged in. Our younger one doesn't require it, but I wanted to test her preference too (just in case, someday...) and she had the same response: "MEH." Then she got it in her mouth and went insane for it. And it absolutely smells just like Maple!

My poodle mix likes to lick up fuzz, dog hair, or just lick on a blanket. It’s weird, but I have Laxatone to help him pass the inevitable hairball. The dogs and cats like the taste and texture. I give my small poodle mix about an inch long line on my forefinger, of the Laxatone. It helps him avoid producing a hairball.

Maple flavor is not a hit with the cats. The product is pretty soft at room temp, so be mindful while handling it. I scoop some onto my finger and place it inside my cat's cheek. After two applications, she was no longer coughing from not being able to hack up a fur ball. I haven't had to use it since, but I might make it a weekly thing to prevent her any future issues.

Tube is barely half full, cat does like it.
