Seems to work well. I spray it on myh dogs out in the yard and on myself and no ticks so far :) Smell is good too. I ordered peppermint and lemongrass scents.

Best stuff EVER...smells great, safe for my furbabies, and truly keeps mosquitoes away!

Later Edit: I bought this product again after using our first bottles. Not sure if they don’t get the formula identical or what, but the second time we are still getting mosquito bites. We also experienced the problems with the spray mechanism locking up on us. Disappointed after thinking we had found a solution to our mosquito issue. This stuff is awesome!! My poor 3 year old is usually eaten by mosquitos all summer long. They also like me too. I have had success with this every time we apply. PLUS it smells nice (we got lemongrass) and I feel like I’m putting a quality product on my little ones.

We had been on too many hikes in our back fields and come back with a tick or two on us OR our small children! I wanted something that I knew wouldn’t be chemical filled and pose any harm to small children but would still be very effective and so far this works great!

Good for Misquitoes/Gnats NOT ticks! I wanted to get away from Deet, so got this product through a recommendation. Sprayed it on for street walk with doggies and pleasantly surprised by how flying insects kept their distance—like I was in an invisible bubble. HOWEVER, when I used it for a path “nature” walk, everyone (including dogs) came away with ticks crawling precisely where we sprayed, so I’m back to Deet or just staying on the street. (Northern CA)

Applied copious amounts and still got ticks. Slathered my legs in the cedar one and was walking in the grass 15 minutes later and had a 2 ticks crawling up my leg. I think it might work for about 10 minutes on human skin esp because effectiveness is altered by sweat. If you sweat at all, it does not work. Possibly works better for mosquitoes and biting flies but is unreliable for ticks. Not a good product for someone like me who works outside on a sheep farm. Don't count on it for more than brief, casual use.

This is the only natural bug spray that seems to work and also smells okay!! It’s great for backyard summer play. I leave it out and the kids are able to just use it as needed. I use it often while camping and hiking too!! I love that I can use it and not worry about smelling like bug spray later and I don’t feel bad if I leave it on at night when camping.

Doing yard work in SC caused me to get eaten up be skeeters and gnats. This smells good to be but seemed to keep the critters away.
