I will update after the full 12 weeks recommended treatment, but I can say that I have already noticed that my hair growth has slowed down A LOT. I used to have to shave every day, and sometimes would have stubble even by the end of the first day. But now I can usually go 3 days or so before needing to shave. For reference, I am female, medium brunette with fair skin (though I do tan easily).It takes me about an hour to (very thoroughly) treat my bikini line, armpits, lower legs (including knees) and feet. It takes about 3 seconds between pulses for the light to cool off and reset for the next one, so it's a bit more time-consuming than previous laser treatments I've had. But it's much less expensive and I can do it on my own schedule - worth it in my book. I've previously had laser treatments on bikini and armpits and just needed a touch-up for a few finer strays there, so I can't speak to how this works on areas with those coarser hairs. But my legs are very much improved. Based on my results so far, I am happy with my purchase.Wear the glasses AND close your eyes, and also lock the door so people or pets don't blunder in and get blinded - this thing is BRIGHT! I use it on the highest setting, and have only had about a half-dozen pulses that were decently painful (hopefully it means that particular hair is never coming back!) The rest of the time it just feels like getting snapped with a hot rubber band. Not so bad in my opinion, maybe a 2 out of 10 on a pain scale. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not working as advertised but.... *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2018* Update: 6-26-2018- The IPL is working, just slowly. I've been consistent with use for about 2 months on my upper lip. The small light colored hairs are almost gone. I still have the darker more corse hairs but they seem to be growing much slower. I am going to update my review to 4 stars as I feel it is partially working. I may not get permanant hair removal but I will take what I can get.Well I have been using this for about 2 weeks. I've been using this on my upper lip area. I've used it at least 3 times a week on level 5. I've seen no slowing of the hair growth and no stop to the hair growth. I turn it on, it takes a color sample and powers down. I got a few test zaps when I opened the box, but when I went to actually use it the next day, no luck.
