Booor-riiing. Really. I mean boring. This is really cool. It's made from a heavy, durable metal with a very sharp bite. Two ends, each have a different job. good equipment to have

I bought this to specifically build a Swedish torch. I am a camping, Bushcraft enthusiast.This worked perfectly. It's strong and sturdy.With any hand drill, it's a difficult task. It's not "easy" to use, in the respect that you need to use some muscle to drill it into wood. It is easy to understand how to use.Any other review saying it's not easy to use doesn't understand the use of this.

Auger had a few chip, but not along the cutting edge. Have not used it as yet, but feel it will still function properly.

Works as expected (use the extra leather strap to wrap around the sharp ahl when youre shaping wood through the eye, or you'll end up with a buncha little cuts on your hands)

It is big.. However maybe you need big. It is high quality, sharp and a great sheath. I like it and will take it on my new WIlderness life.

This bit works extremely well in the forest. Makes construction from nothing but the land around you. Yes, it takes a little work, but if youve got the right information and some patience, you'll be amazed at what can be obtained with one of these.

Wish I'd bought this one the first time.The pegs fit the hole perfectly unlike the cheap one I bought first time.

Does the job

Really versatile tool that takes up very little packing space.The overall quality is good but, as can be seen in the picture, the weld was not perfect.It did however survive my quite punishing test.Tried it out by making a bushcraft sledge hammer with material I found along the path.Took me roughly half an hour to drill through a 20 cm soggy pine log and to carve and auger (?) the handle to the correct size.It produced a really snug fit and there is no sign of the sledge coming apart after hammering down some large poles in the garden.
