Good Belts for hogging off metal and doing rough work. 2 of the 6 ordered did not track well and the tape joints were a bit bumpier than the others, hoping it was just fluke (everyone has a bad day sometime right...). The 4 good belts worked well and seem to last for a good time, maybe not as well as the more expensive one, but hey what do you expect. I will continue to use them as i have bought lots of belts from this vendor and have always had great customer service and good products.4 stars because they don't perform as well as the pricier belts but would definitely say these are better than other belts in their price bracket.Overall - Good product, great vendor, timely shipping, and good follow up.

They are great, they will cut any metal with ease. I shaped up knife blades of hardened 5160 that was impossible to drill holes into with tungston or cobalt bits, they lastrd thru several large knives.

I get several times the lifespan of a aluminum oxide (AO) belt, they stay cooler and they really hog off material much better as well. They are definitely worth the higher premium.

great belt for your first grind, easy to start plung line

The abrasive on the belts cut good and last a really long time. I subtracted a star because some of the belts I recieved to did not track true. One of them hand a 1/4" wobble from left to right. Those belts could still be used, but I had to mark them so they didn't get used for certain tasks that require a precision grind (knife bevels).

I don't know how long I should expect a ceramic belt to last but this belt just keeps cutting, while the price may seem expensive , I do believe this is the way to go. Excellent quality and consistency. I will be buying more.
