Cork Pop Legacy Opener

This thing is amazing. I have many older bottles of wine and the cork is often deteriorated to the point where a normal cork screw doesn't work. The cork simply splits and the only way to free it is to push it into the bottle, making it harder to pour and leaving pieces of cork in every glass. Then I have to filter as I pour. This opener solves that problem. It cuts the foil off, then easily pushes a long needle through the cork. A quick push of the CO2 (?) cartridge and the cork pops right out. As far as I can tell, it doesn't affect the taste of the wine. I use it for all bottles both new and old. Easier to use than other openers designed for this purpose that are much more expensive. Highly recommend.

It has been great... same cartridge has opened dozens of bottles... my brother-in-law thought it was neat to I got one for Jim as a gift. Today he told me he has used it a few times but recently opened or tried to open a bottle and bottle burst. He wanted to warn me that these maybe could be dangerous. I will keep using mine but will use caution if children are in the room.

This works great! So quick and easy. Takes a time or two to get the knack of it but after that so simple. We tried to use it on some lesser expensive wines from Trader Joe’s and it didn’t work too well on those. Maybe the corks weren’t true corks. Idk. Seems to work flawlessly on real corks.

A pretty good wine opener. It works best on red wine (near room temp), as white (refrigerated) wine can be tricky to open. The foil cutter is ok, but I don’t use it as I’ve found that flexing the legs eventually causes stress cracks over time.

Love this product and have purchased it for gifts many times. The cartridges last quite a long time. I was very surprised of how long. I swear it was over 50-60 bottles before I needed to replace it.

simply the best wine opener we've ever bought, received as a gift or used, it's functionality can only be matched by the smaller and more compact version. With a built-in foil cutter and the design that centers the needle, this one gaurantees an easy corking every time. Love this ... it's got it all over on the Rabbit!

Fantastic way of getting corks out of older wines without the cork crumbling. A little tough to get the cork off. Usually wait until the next day and the cork comes off easily.

Was not able to cut the foil on my bottle of Sherry and thankfully, the cork was easily removed by hand. Not sure if the opener would actually pull out a cork. Maybe the canister is defective- don't know.
